Chapter 3

Winny pov:

We had been so tired when we got home that we fell asleep as soon as we hit the bed. Before passing out, tang had mentioned Sound's event for the next day before, but honestly, I was too wiped out to remember anything. The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed, but tang seemed upset

"You forgot our plan?" Satang asked, his voice low and sulky

"No, I just didn't know it was today, don't be mad, na?" I said, grasping his hands

"I know you forgot it, why did you lie?" he replied, pushing my hands away

"I'm sorry, I won't do it again, please, calm down" I said

"I'm sorry, I should have reminded you yesterday," Satang conceded "Should we go now? I don't want to be late"

"Okay" I agreed, is he still mad at me

Once outside, I could tell Satang was still angry because he remained quiet and walked faster than usual 

I hate seeing him upset

Satang pov:

I barely had time to process my thoughts when I heard the screeching of tires and a sickening thud. I turned around to see Winny lying motionless on the ground, a car speeding away

I rushed to Winny's side, my heart pounding in my chest. He was unconscious, his breathing shallow, I screamed for help, tears streaming down my face

At the hospital, I was told that Winny had severe head injuries and was in a coma. The driver of the car had disappeared from the scene

As I sat by Winny's bedside, I couldn't help but blame myself for what had happened. If only I hadn't argued with Winny, if only I had stayed with him, this wouldn't have happened

Winny remained in a coma, I held his hand and prayed for his recovery, hoping that he would wake up and forgive me

But I began to lose hope when the doctors told me that Winny's condition was unlikely to improve and he might never wake up

I was depressed, but I refused to give up, I would stay by Winny's side, no matter how long it takes. I would never abandon him, not when he needed me the most

I can't lose him too
