Chapter 13

All the critters except hoppy and kickin are at dogday's house sitting at a round table in the kitchen, 'alright critter crew! We have a wedding to set up. This is gonna require a lot of work and effort, but I know if we work together, we can get this done!' Dogday announces proudly

Bobby is looking at him unamused, 'is catnap under the table giving you sloppy toppy?' She asks, raising an eyebrow

Dogday taps his fingers against the table, smiling while sweating nervously. If catnap is under the table, dont you think his seat would be empty!' He says loudly, and that's when Catnap pops back up into his chair, looking innocent while wiping the drool from his mouth

Dogday coughs, 'um, anyways, let's assign jobs for everyone, bobby, crafty. How would you two like to be the maids of honor?'

Bobby smiles brightly, 'I would be honored to be a maid of honor.' She cups her hands together while green and yellow hearts form around her

Crafty smiles, 'I'll do my best,' She says, sounding nervous

Dogday smiles and nods, 'me and catnap will be the best man of the wedding, crafty can you handle being the flower girl?' He asks, looking over at her, 'Oh yeah, of course I can,' Crafty says, sounding more confident in that roll

Dogday looks at the list conflicted, 'who will be the Ring bearer?' He rubs his pen against his head. He looks up, seeing Bobby lighting up like a light bulb, 'I volunteer to be the Ring bearer!'

Dogday tilts his head, 'Are you sure? you already have so much to handle' 

Bobby waves her hand up and down, 'When it comes to love, we can handle anything!'

Dogday turns to piggy. Can you be the cook?'

Piggy, who's in the middle of eating a PPNJ, finishes it, 'Oh yeah, I'll make the best dinner I can!'

Catnap holds up his tablet, 'Don't let her eat all the food before the party.' Everyone reads the tablet and starts laughing

Dogday looks at the list, 'alright, catnap what else do you want to do?' He looks across the table while smiling

Catnap gives him bedroom eyes with a smirk, and he shows his tablet, 'I'm not interested in this wedding. I honestly just want to sleep and cuddle with you'

Dogday blushes completely pink. He looks at all the critters who have their eyes on him, 'Well, um, come on, catnap the wedding is important. We need to focus on that first'

Crafty looks over at catnap, then at dogday, 'I think he might still be jealous that you two weren't the first to get married

Bobby speaks up, 'No, catnap is more focused on finishing what he started before we interrupted him mid well you know'

Dogday and catnap both blush, 'meeting adjourned!' Dogday shouts loudly while standing up

Hours later, dogday and catnap are cuddling each other on the couch while watching the frowning critters TV show. Catnap is snuggling up against dogday, 'can I get us a snack moon?' He leans up and puts an arm around catnap, 'cupcake~ babe, my angel~' he whispers into catnaps ear, causing him to blush brightly. Dogday puts his hand against catnaps chin so they are looking at each other, 'can I move~?'

Catnap becomes lost with love, he does a small nod as his face completely turns pink and his eyes turn into big hearts, dogday kisses him which prompts catnap to wrap his tail around the two of them. Dogdays phone starts going off, causing him to pull away and answer, 'Yes, hello?' Dogday asks, 'I'm kinda busy. Why is it going on?' Catnap does mitten paws against dogday while purring and chirping, 'yeah me and catnap will be right over' he hangs up and puts his phone into his pocket, 'that was Bubba he asked if we can check on everything to make sure it's going as planned' he explains prompting catnap to cling to dogday despite to have more alone time with him
