🌸Lily🌸

Dear Lily,

You are correct, this letter wasn't meant to go to you. It wasn't supposed to go to anyone. But, thank you for sending it back to me. Your spelling and grammar is perfectly fine, and your handwriting is very nice as well. How old are you anyway? And, you haven't wasted my time. If anything your letter has given me something else to focus on. If you wish to write me back please do so.                                                                                                                                                                                  Sincerely, Alessandro

So, I guess he's not mad. I smile as I lay down his letter and think about whether or not I should write back to him. I guess I don't have anything to loose so why not?

I rush to my room to grab a new piece of paper, pen, and envelope. I don't think I've been this happy in a long, long time.

Dear Alessandro,

You have a little sister? Sorry, that's stupid you just said you did. How old is she? Ive always loved kids. Do you ever want kids in the future? I do, but not too many. Maybe someday when I can actually afford a house. Thank you about the handwriting, I'm death gripping my pencil right now and giving myself blisters...Im nineteen, how old are you? I hope your not some supper old man. That would be creepy, I hope you're not though because I really want to keep writing to you.                                                                                                                                                                                  Sincerely, Lily

I hope he doesn't mind my letters.

🥀 Alessandro🥀

When I had found out that Alex had sent the letter in the mail to a random address I was furious. I immediately found out who lived at the address, and had my men run a background check. Turns out, that she's just a normal civilian. Both parents are dead, and she works at a local coffee shop.

When they had pulled up a picture of her, I couldn't breathe. Ive never seen anything as beautiful as her. If I was a normal person, I would gladly ask her out without a second thought. But, sadly, I am a mafia boss and have to keep my guard up no matter what.

During the background check they looked into her medical records. It turns out that she has a rare disorder called DPD. Which is short for dependent personality disorder. It's a mental disorder that can make her act more childish than others, and causes her to constantly have the need to be around someone. And according too the information we found she lives alone.

The disorder normally comes from having a traumatic childhood, but there's no way we can confirm that's what caused it.

From all of this new information and a random attack on one of my warhorses, I can't think straight. And there's more, she lives on one of the most dangerous streets in the city. And in a cheap apartment.

I check some security cameras over the past week. A couple minutes later I found her. In tight work jeans, and a black T-shirt no one has ever looked better.

I curse to myself before slamming my hand into the wall. Pain radiates up my arm giving me a quick migraine. But I deserve it.

Why can't I get this woman off my mind? I shouldn't let simple things like a couple stupid letters make me distracted. No matter how...Intriguing my little pen pall is.
