Chapter 1

Y/N pov

I followed the light, assuming I would be heading to the afterlife. Yet there was the possibility for being reincarnated. I wonder which it was gonna be for me. I got blinded by the light, and i closed my eyes. When I woke up, the first thing I felt was my eyes being dazzled. Light filled my vision, and I narrowed my eyes in discomfort. Trying to adjust to the new light. 

Once my eyes adjusted to the brightness, I found a young blonde woman gazing at me. I also noticed a child within her other arm, where am I? Who are they? Beside her was a man of a similar young age with brown hair, giving me and the baby a stiff smile. What was his problem?

A strong and arrogant looking man. His muscles were amazing. Brown hair, arrogant type. Looking at his DQN appearance, I should have been repulsed. Strangely enough though, I did not feel he was unpleasant. Looking at it, the baby was also having brown hair like the man. 

???: "-----XX-----XXXX"

The woman cracked a smile as she watched me along with the baby and said something. What is she saying? Feeling fuzzy, I could not hear clearly and didn't understand it at all. Could it be that it's not Japanese? Maybe it was another language I didn't get to learn.

??? 2: "------XXXXX----XXX," 

The man replied with a gentle expression. Really, what did he just say? I couldn't understand it at all.

??? 3: "------XX-----XXX"

A third person's voice came from somewhere.

I couldn't see them. I tried to sit up and ask them, "Where is this place, and who are you guys?" Seems the baby had a similar idea as me. Even as a monk I had good communication skills. So why could I not speak? I could still do something like this.

Y/N: "Ah, Ah------"

But I couldn't tell if what came from my lips was a groan or just heavy breathing. My body couldn't move. I felt sensations in my fingers and wrists, but I couldn't move my upper body. Wait a minute here... I was possibly underneath that landslide, so that can only mean I died and got reborn. That is the only explanation to my current situation. Fuck. But, I have a second change at life now. 

??? 2: "XXX--XXXXX"

I watched the man, whom I assume is now my biological father in this world, pick up the baby. He then did the same to me, seems he worked out a lot based off his appearance. I felt out a baby laugh at this. Might as well play the part as a newborn baby. 

Timeskip 

A month passed by. It looked like I was reincarnated, just as I studied. I finally realized that fact. I had become a baby. I confirmed it when I was carried up with my head supported and my own body appeared in my sight. I didn't know why I still had my past memories, but there was nothing bad about retaining them. Makes me wonder, what is this world? 

Retaining memories upon reincarnation----- I had a gut feeling in my past life that it was possible to happen. But the question is still in my mind. Who gave me this second change? The first couple I had seen when I opened my eyes seemed to be my parents.

They were probably in the earlier half of their 20s. Clearly, they were younger than me in my past life. From the perspective of a 30-year-old monk, it was alright to call them young. And to have children at that age? It is kind of impressive, especially seeing as our mother gave birth to twin boys. I already noticed it from the start, but I didn't seem to be in Japan. It does remind me of the village though.  

The language was different, my parents' faces didn't appear to be Japanese, and their clothes even seemed to be that of a native village. Then again back home, I was raised in a native village. I noticed that the other child, is my twin. Seems I am the younger one between us. Is it rare to have twins in this world?
