Nico Saint walked out of her room, jogging down the staircase and heading towards the kitchen. she was ready to go out, makeup and hair done with a cute outfit. nico wore a red ruffled halter top with her usual denim jeans

"mom ?" nico called out as she rounded the corner to the kitchen, not being met with her mother but instead lucas and dani. "oh... hey dani" nico sent the wine colored redhead a small wave, dani sending a sweet smile back as she chewed on her cereal bar

lucas rolled his eyes, annoyed at how nico simply pretended he wasn't there. "where are you going all dressed up ?" lucas questioned, choosing to ignore how nico ignored him

nico continued to ignore lucas, figuring this was the only way she'd survive living with him. he threatened to let pascal run away... what kind of brother does that ? "wheres mom ?" she asked the two, sparing a small glance to lucas though her main focus was dani

dani thought for a second, trying to recall. "grocery store... I think that's what she said. she left like half an hour ago" dani told the young blonde, earning a smile in appreciation.

"mkay, can you guys tell her I left when she gets back ?" she asked, her question aimed towards dani, still pretending her brother wasn't there. dani gave a small nod

lucas sent looks at dani, trying to silently make her ask nico where she was going. dani huffed, turning to nico with a pleading look, "neeks - sorry nico," dani corrected herself "will you please talk to your brother so I don't have to be his messenger ?" she asked politely

nico felt bad about it so she agreed, turning her head towards lucas. "what, lucas ?" she questioned with a bitter tone, she agreed to talk to him, not to be nice about it.

"where are you going neeks ? did you get permission ?" he asked both questions quickly with a parenting look in his eye. nico used to find his protective side endearing but now it was just annoying and unnecessary

the blonde rolled her eyes calmly, "ill go tell dad" she opted out, turning around to walk towards the living room, stopping abruptly and turning back, "and dani I don't mind you calling me neeks, but lucas you don't get to call me that anymore"

nico then called to her dad that she was leaving to go to six flags with nelson, noah and cozy before they left for la. she earned an 'okay, sweetie have fun !' in response

The Group of four had been at six flags for twenty minutes, having gone on one or two rides, but as they were walking to find another ride they heard a kid from behind a booth yell. "I could give yall some free animals !"

all of them turned and walked towards the booth, half expecting the kid to be lieing and just wanted to get their attention, but he actually followed up and gave noah, nelson and nico all their own large stuffed animals

the boy gave nico a special one, a large bear, making the girl gasp. "holy shit, thank you !" she exclaimed with a small, placing the bear on her shoulders. nelson watched the interaction, biting his lip to keep from being rude to the nice kid

"yeah no problem ! I saw you liked bears in cams videos so I thought it was perfect" the boy explained, nico nodding as another thank you before the four walked away

nico could practically feel the jealousy seeping off of nelson, so she reached over and grabbed his hand, rubbing her hand against his knuckles. "why are you jealous, baby ?" she asked him as noah and cozy walked ahead, looking for another ride
