Austin's POV

I walked into the mansion after my morning training and it was dead silent, I missed her laughter filling up the house... Her scent whenever she was moving around the house and even the joyful energy she brought with her. Now the house was dull and grey, she doesn't want to talk to anyone not even her own mother... I tried getting her to eat but she never finishes the food, she's getting more pale and think... I hate seeing her like that.

I walked into the kitchen and made myself some breakfast and made her a quick smoothie hoping she'd finish something I give her. Her father was a father to me too, without him I wouldn't be here today so in a nutshell I understand her pain. "This is going to be a tough year" I sighed to myself, as much as I don't want to show her... I miss her, her smile, her style, ger hair, her soft skin and all her flaws. I started to feel myself get too emotional and snapped myself back into reality "You're a man... Emotions are for women Austin" I said as I poured rhe smoothie into a glass.

I took a deep breath and made my way up the stairs with the glass in my hand, every step I took felt like heavier than the last. I reached the top of the stairs and made my way to her room. Sadness filled the hall and silence, she wasn't crying anymore. I reached her room and knocked softly, she didn't answer and I knocked again. "Laura I made you a drink, Im leaving it on the floor... If you're awake please eat" I spoke to the door softly and all I got was silence, I placed the drink near her door and let out a sigh. "Please Laura, if you want to talk I'm always here for you" I spoke again before turning to leave,I was disappointed because I wanted to see her. I started walking away when I heard her door open, "Thank you" she spoke in a weak voice. I turned around and saw her picking up the drink, she looked thinner than before and it saddened me to see her this way. "The crew misses you" I smiled at her, but she didn't reply instead she just smiled. "How do you feel today?" I asked. "Good..." she gave me a weak smile.

Her eyes were swollen and red from all the crying and her hair was messy, she was letting herself go and it made me feel sad. "Would you like some company?" I asked, "No I'm tired I think I'll just sleep" she spoke in a soft voice. "Look I know I haven't been in the situation you've been through but I know how it feels like to lose someone you loved... And the best thing you can do is stop shutting people out" I moved closer to her, "I watched him die Austin" her eyes filled up with tears immediately after she spoke those words. I felt the urge to hold her and comfort her and that's what I did, I pulled her in for a hug and she didn't resist.

"I'm sorry" I whispered. She pulled away minutes later and walked into her room leaving the door open,I took it as an invitation and walked in after her. Her room was dark and gloomy. She hadn't bothered to make ger bed nor let the maids in to do it for her, her closet was a mess and all her designer clothes were scattered, her pillows were on the floor and one was ripped up... I could tell it was from frustration. I watched her as she took a sip of the smoothie I made for her and sit on her bed. "Have spoken to your mother yet?" I sat at the end of her bed not too far from her, "No..." she responded. "I think you should Laura" I encouraged her. "I'll call her" she shrugged, "No, I'll let her know you're ready and she'll come over" I assured her. She smiled and looked up at me, "So it took a tragedy to happen for you to be this sweet to me?" she mocked. " Didn't want you to think I was a softy" I joked. She let out a small cute laugh and it made me feel warm inside.

"I missed the sound of your laughter " I unconsciously spoke, she stopped and looked at me. "Was that weird?" I asked as she looked at me blankly, "N-no it's not" she ran her hand through her hair. "Thank you... For being here, I guess I did need company after all" she smiled at me and I smiled back. She went back to drinking her drink and I got up from the bed and started picking things up from the floor. "No, don't do that... I was gonna do it" she almost chocked on her drink. "It's fine, I don't mind" I continued, she got up from her bed and rushed to me but it was too late. In my hand was her lace underwear, I hadn't realized I had picked it up till she took them from me.

"I'm sorry" she nervously put them away, I looked at her and laughed. "You think I haven't seen panties before?" I chuckled. I then got closer to her and towered over her, "I've seen it all Laura" I whispered and she turned bright red. I felt myself want her but I didn't want to take advantage of her due to the state she was in. I needed her to be in the right state of mind first. I then slowly started to walk away but I felt her warm hand grab my wrist and pull me back to her. Without warning she grabbed me by the collar and kissed me, I couldn't resist the urge any longer and kissed her back.

I then picked her up, making her wrap he lags around my waist and my way to her bed. She kept kissing me and I gently placed her on the bed and started kissing her neck. I felt her hands slowly make their way down to my trousers as she tried to unbuckle them. "Are you sure this is what you want?" I whispered to her, she answered me by pulling me in for another kiss. "Laura I'm serious" I pulled away again. "I want this... I want you" she spoke in a soft voice, I smiled at her and kissed her neck making my way down her body. Her breathing was loud, her body was sexy and perfect. I started taking off her shorts when something distracted us, "Laura! Austin? Where is everyone!?" Jada's voice cane from the end of the hall slowly approaching Laura's room. "Shit" Laura got frustrated, I then threw a blanket over her lower body and got up from the bed. "I'll be downstairs" I cleared my throat. I looked at her and she nodded.

I left the room meeting Jada at the door. "Good evening Jada" I nodded, "Austin" she nodded back with a smirk on her face before entering Laura's room.
