Threads intertwined, souls dangling on a string.
I'd rewind to the days when I used to know you.
Now I'm alone, left you at a crossroad, praying
That I'd be back home soon.
I knew you, but my tears opened our pain up
Like rain opens the skies to pour, water come crashing down.
I thought I knew you until you wept at my feet.
You told me that you couldn't do this anymore.
Relieved me of that building pressure.
All we know is all we were told,
The battles we fought, our armors of choice,
Sharp tongues was all we had, and all we know.
You lost me, because this is all we know.
