You and I

We could have been a masterpiece, you and I, A symphony of love beneath the azure sky. Each moment a canvas, waiting to be painted, With the colors of passion, never to be tainted.

We could have been the stars that light the night, A constellation of love, burning ever bright. Our souls entwined in a cosmic dance, A love story whispered in every glance.

We could have been the laughter in the rain, Two souls united, casting off the pain. Together we'd weather life's storms and strife, Bound by a love stronger than life.

But alas, in the realm of could-have-been, We're mere shadows, fleeting and thin. Yet still, I'll cherish the dreams we create, In the bittersweet realm of what could have been our fate.
