my words were still shallow,
my stories were still hollow,
I can't keep up with the greatests,
I might die as the plainest.
my dreams were too ambitious,
my flaws were too obvious,
I can't keep up with the smartest,
oh, I might die as the most foolish.
my voice was too loud,
it was killed by the crowd,
I can't keep up with the bravests,
that I might die in great cowardice.
now my life has been dark,
my shine died like a star,
I can't keep up with the brightests,
and so I die as the dullest.
