Royal: where it all begins

Prologue-Into the woods

As I bend down to get a drink of water from the river, I stop to gaze upon my reflection that of a young black girl long black hair and dark brown eyes. Suddenly I'm taken away from myself when I hear a twig snap, I look up to see "a bunny" I say as my mouth begins to spread across my face "come here mister bunny" I stand up and begin to run as the rabbit scurries away from me "wait mister bunny I just wanna pet you". As I run the woods begin to change the branches becoming longer more spinDaly, The sky from a beautiful blue to a dark twinkling purple, the grass from lush green to a dull brown then to Moist dirt. I stop to take in my surroundings, my chest begins to rapidly rise and fall my eyes darting from tree to tree flashes of what lies beyond my sight plague my mind. Feeling something trickle down my cheek I say "mom........dad" sniffles turn to shouts "I want my mom and dad" I drop to my knees whaling, face in hands I look up and a ceiling littered with webs and dust.
