My tummy's aching, feels like a storm,
Fever's burning, my body's worn.
But in the dark, where the shadows creep,
I'll hide away, where no one sees me weep.
did bad on that test, couldn't even try,
Mood's so heavy, can't help but sigh.
In the dim light, where the darkness seeps,
I'll wallow in sorrow, where my heart silently weeps.
Lost someone close, left me all alone,
Heart's heavy, like a sinking stone.
But in the darkness, where the sadness seethes,
I'll lay in the quiet, where my pain silently grieves.
I wanna lay in bed, where no one can see,
In the silent night, where I can just be me.
In the shadows' embrace, where the darkness meets,
I'll find my peace, where the sadness retreats.
Turn off the lights, let me be alone,
Don't disturb me now, my peace is already gone.
If only they'd leave me be, a simple good deed,
Stop calling out to me, for privacy I plead.
