Ch 7: Prawn

Wynter's POV: I can't believe it's the night of prawn again, last year on the night of prawn we almost died as we were preparing to spend our last moments at prawn but, we found the moonstone last minute & recharged our necklaces, ever since the prawn was celebrated by werewolves as a night for new beginnings for us. This year, most of us have dates to go with, I asked my crush Alexis out & she said yes! "You sure you're not going to prawn this year, Willa?" I asked her as she fixed my hair. "Well, someone has to look after the werepups but you go have fun okay? So, don't worry about me, I don't even have a date this year." Willa told me. "And...done now you're ready to go to prawn."Willa said as I hugged her. "Thanks, Willa!" I thanked her & left the wolf den. I'd headed to Alexis's house until I realized that I didn't exactly know where her house was. I've always assumed she lived near Addison's house, I knocked on the door & her parents answered. "So, you're the werewolf that asks our daughter to prom?" Her mom said firmly. "Yep..." I told her, chuckling nervous & awkwardly. "What makes you think that you are good enough for our daughter?" Her dad asked me sounding firm. Just then Alexis appeared behind them, looking as beautiful as ever in a charming red & black dress, her hair was half up & half down. "Let's just go." Alexis said to me. "Bye mom, bye dad!" She said waving goodbye to her parents. " I am so sorry about my parents, Wynter." She said apologetically. "It-it's okay." I said as we went to prawn together.

Alexandria's POV: As we entered prawn, I heard someone talking bad about Wynter. "Is that werewolf freak even allowed in here, I'm usually not against werewolves but that Wynter girl is just weird..." Before Wynter could react, I went full vampire mode on him hissing at him which made Wynter blush but, she somehow also felt sorry for me that I had to go to prawn with a "freak" like her the words of the person who disrespected her not me. "Hey, don't listen to them, you're perfect the way you are." I said as I'd grabbed her hand, taking the bubbly wolf to the dance floor. "Shall we dance?" She asked her as we started to dance, romantic music was playing as we danced the night away but suddenly someone bumped into me nearly causing me to fall & within Wynter's swift motion, she caught me before hitting the floor.

3rd POV: "Guess I'm literally falling for you."Alexandria joked as they both blushed & laughing as Wynter helped Alexis up on my feet. "Ladies, gentlemen & however else you identify, the votes are in & looks like we have the first prawn queens in Seabrook history, let's give them a round of applause for...Alexis & Wynter!" Principal Lee announced. I couldn't believe it...me & Wynter are crowned prawn queens. They both got up on stage as the principal crowned them as people cheered & clapped for them, together they made a small speech & got their picture taken for prawn wall of fame. The night went on as they danced under the disco lights, after prawn was over. Wynter took Alexis to a place where only werewolves knew about, a very special place with a magical tree in the forbidden forest called the everlasting tree which was rumored to have a magical aura that can make relationships last forever where the bubbly wolf asked the kind vampire a special question. "A-alexis, can I ask you something." Wynter asked her. "Of course, you can what is it?" Alexandria said smiling. "W-will you be my girlfriend?" She asked her. "Yes!" Alexandria said as they held hands under the tree as they slowly started to lean in & kissed under the moonlight.

It was supposed to be update a few days ago but I was busy with school & stuff
