Why? There are a few episodes where they work together such as "Tak: The Hideous New Girl", "Bolognius Maximus" and "Halloween Spectacular of Spooky Doom" (along with the unreleased episodes such as "Mopiness of Doom" and "Return Of Keef")
They also fall under my favorite trope, enemies to lovers, so I guess that gives em a few extra points.
Although I see why people dislike the ship, just to be clear I see Zim as a kid. I prefer if they had a frenemy relationship over a romantic one though.

Why? I've met so many people who are nice in the community!
And then there's the weird people who draw weird ass stuff.
But I've met more nice people over weirdos! Everyone's experience can be different though.
