Upon reaching Anubis House, everyone had changed out of their uniforms and into casual clothes. Most of them were gathered in the living room, doing their own things, waiting for supper to be served.

Daphne leaned against the armrest of one of the two sofas, resting her legs on Jerome's lap as she flipped through a magazine.

Jerome and Alfie were having a silent argument over something which made Daphne scoff when she peeked over the top of the magazine.

"I can't believe no one's got Joy's home number," Patricia complained, standing by where Amber was seated on the other sofa. "That's cause this is her home," Amber started, "Just call her phone."

"Amber, keep up," Patricia bent down closer to her, "I told you she left her phone behind." She said a little slowly, hoping for the blonde to catch on.

"So text her," Amber replied in a 'duh' tone. "Stupidity leak," Patricia tapped Amber's left temple, tired of dealing with her.

"So," Fabian looked over to Patricia from his spot on an armchair. "They already got someone else in her bed?" Confused about what was happening.

Mara stopped focussing on her homework and looked up to Patricia from her spot of the sofa with the same confused look as Fabian.

"Yeah," Patricia stood opposite of the boy. "It's that girl we saw in the taxi." She reminded him about the incident during their break.

"She's American and she's totally obsessed with it," Patricia looked over to everyone, who had been paying attention for a while. "She's said it like a hundred times."

Mara was still trying to wrap her head around the whole thing. "And Joy's just, gone?" Patricia nodded her head. "That really is weird." Mara nodded her head, understanding Patricia's concern a little better.

"Maybe, Joy's been abducted by aliens and this new girl is one of them." Alfie suggested seriously causing everyone to either roll their eyes or chuckle.

"Yeah," Jerome decided to add on. "Maybe the new girl is an alien in a flesh suit." Alfie excitedly pointed to his best friend, as a way of silently saying 'see!'.

Noticing that Daphne was not paying attention to the conversation, Jerome tapped her calves to get her attention.

She looked up from her magazine, raising her brows as her silent way of asking him 'what'. He tilted his head towards his lap, where her legs laid, his way of getting her to sit on the sofa properly.

Daphne playfully rolled her eyes at him, dramatically swinging her legs off of him. She shifted so she was leaning against the backrest of the sofa, her thighs against Jerome's with how close they were sitting.

"We were planning a rom-com box set marathon tonight," Patricia ignored the two boys, deeply concerned for her best friend's disappearance. "you know Joy's rom-com obsession. How can she have gone just like that?"

Daphne nodded her head, agreeing with Patricia to an extent. Just as she was about to say something, she felt Jerome wrap his arm around her shoulders.  "Patricia, you've disappeared more than enough times." Jerome spoke with his right hand before dropping it to hang from Daphne's shoulder.

Patricia defended her ground while Jerome tried to speak some sense into her. He wasn't doing it for the Williamson, really. More for his sanity as he knew if Patricia continued with her endless worrying, a certain brunette would come knocking on his door way past curfew with a head full of worries.

Everyone continued to discuss about the situation but Daphne was observing as usual, taking in what everyone had to say. As her eyes scanned the room, she noticed an unfamiliar face enter the room.
