"Found him!" Raven yelled making all eyes fall on her

Two words, two words that relieved me more than I'd like to admit. My hands quickly found my phone before texting Obsidian and only then did my brain catch up to what I just did. Nothing more could be done from that moment on so I just patiently waited for them to come back.

I watched Raven leave the room while scratching her head making me raise an eyebrow but say nothing. They soon came back and I couldn't help the small forehead kiss I gave my girl before walking towards her father. We stared at each other for a moment with my analysing him before he sighed and nodded as I placed my hand on his shoulder glad that he's okay.

"Where's Raven?" he asked as he sat down with me next to him

"She's-right here" Vanni said as Raven walked in looking just as distracted as when she stepped out

"Bunny" Issac said making her sigh and close her eyes

"This is all your fault" she said pointing at me

"I did nothing wrong" I said defending myself from something I probably did but don't remember doing

"What's going on?" Obsidian asked making her friend kick the table before falling over in pain because she kicked a wooden table with her bare foot. We watched her stand perfectly still with her eyes shut tightly

"Mother of all things chicken that hurts" she said softly making everyone in the room laugh

"Sorry bunny" Issac said with a chuckle before placing her on the couch and massaging her foot

"Anyway, what you said earlier had me thinking and I couldn't help wondering if I didn't actually find him or was it him who wanted to be found, the fact that he's still in the country bothers me too" Raven said making me nod in understanding

"I trust your skills Raven, you shouldn't doubt yourself" Issac said making her sigh

"Relax, you'd get into my pants either way, no need for smooth talking" she said making Obsidian bang her hands on the table

"I don't-no!" she shouted before gagging making everyone freeze for a moment out of shock, before laughing at her deathly glare directed at the couple on the couch.

We soon went back to work and tried to put Raven at ease by seeing if we can get any more information on Devon. We couldn't, but before we could wallow in our own disappointments, Obsidian swore loudly.

"Why the fuck have we been so focused on finding Devon and not his allies" she said before Raven gasped

"You're right, he can hide and Kennedy can too but those two could slip up or fuck up. You said they'd had a falling out at the hospital, I just hope it was real and not staged" Raven said while sliding back into the floor. We watched them both type up a storm and occasionally mumble amongst each other before they got a hit.

"I found Derrick and he just walked out of a supermarket in Australia with-" Raven said before going silent. It took me stretching my neck over to her scream to see who made her speechless

"Samantha" Obsidian said before chuckling

"They were all around me, they all had access to me, and I was too distracted to see it. I hated Sheryl and Derrick which led to me underestimating their capabilities, then I suspected Kennedy only to be proven right but trusted Samantha to watch her and now it's revealed that their working together"
