SIXTEEN — drunk

kendall nicolas sat alone in her bedroom, it had been her first off week since tour had started, and while her boyfriend was with his family in florida, and her two best-friends were in california for some modeling jobs, she was alone in new york, eating mint chocolate chip ice cream, while watching Gilmore girls for the 30th time, it was truthfully depressing.

she calmly sat in the dark bedroom, the cold spoon between her lips, as the sound of her phone ringing brought her attention back to her depressing life, but it wasn't just any ring tone, it was a specific one, one she hadn't heard in months, one that made her stomach churn, and her heart beat out of her chest with force.

it was Paige's.

"Hello." Kendall muttered, removing the piece of sliver from in between her ice cream stained lips, as the heavier sound of breathing was heard on the opposite end of the line.

Paige was drunk, very drunk, and against the wishes of her teammates, she snuck off into the bathroom of the college bar, and called Kendall Nicolas. "Hi Kenny!" Paige drunkenly spoke, running her hands through her blonde hair, as she stared at herself in the dirty mirror with a smile on her face.

"Are you drunk?" Kendall asked, placing the phone on speaker, and pausing her favorite show, as her full attention was now on her ex girlfriend. "Yes!" The blonde girl happily cheered, leaning her tall frame against the wall, as she used her free hand to mess with the sleeves on her hoodie.

Kendall sighed, slightly chuckling at the girls happy attitude. "Oh my god, where's Azzi or Nika?" The singer asked, sticking the spoon into the tub of ice cream and taking a bite, as her teeth clinched together at the coldness overtaking her mouth.

"They don't know i'm calling you." Paige whispered, poorly, because if anyone else was in the bathroom, they would've heard her loud and clear.

Kendall chuckled once again, placing the spoon into the half eaten tub, and placing her full attention onto the blonde basketball player. "Oh really? so would you be mad if i told them?" She joked, causing the blonde to laugh slightly at the behavior of her ex girlfriend.

"I'd be very upset."

"well, too bad, i just told them." The musician told, leaning her head onto her hand, as she carefully licked the remaining ice cream from her upper lip.

"no!" Paige yelled, dragging out the 'O' at the end of her words.

Kendall laughed again, adjusting herself in her bed. "Goodnight Paige, i'm going to bed." Kendall explained, hanging up the phone before she could hear the drunk words of paige even try and demand her to stay on the phone.
