Running

I do not own anything related to Twilight, Harry Potter and just about everything else. This is a work of fiction yadayad. All characters alive or dead Yadayad. If I owned any real licenced material would I be writing this stuff? So OC so I don't care.
Alice was running late. This was of course nothing new for the young vampire as she was always late. But this time she had a very good reason. She had gone on a weekend shopping spree in Portland and had only gotten back about three hours ago. Then of course she spent those remaining hours doing the real important things, mainly deciding the perfect first day of school outfit. So what if she completely lost track of time, that was where the less fashion conscious members were supposed to look out for their little sister.
When she did come out of her clothes induced stupor, she was surprised when her sight showed her almost everyone on their way to school. "No way!" Alice shouted. They left me to run to school on the first day? Sure Rosalie and Emmett would have no problem with this. One would think she deserved it and the other would find it completely amusing. She was sure at least Jasper or Tanya would have spoken up, but noooo. See if she helped update their wardrobes. Let them run around like rejects from the 80's.
Alice looked down at the new knee high leather boot she was wearing and sighed. The three inch heels would never hold up. "Well damn" she pouted. It was at that moment that her hearing picked up the sound running water from the upstairs shower. It was a bit strange that someone would be taking a shower this late, but hey at least someone was still here. That meant someone who could drive her to school, she thought smugly. She ran a few scenarios through her mind before she went up to see the best results. "That was strange" she though. Alice had the gift of precognition. This meant that she could look into the future and based on what she chose to do determine the outcome. This time she got nothing, just a buzzing noise and blank. Her first thought was it had to be a stinking dog, just by being near they screwed her sight all up, but her nose also drew a blank. Well this was just plan weird.
She tried to figure out what this could mean. The only thing that kind of fit is that it had to be Edward. Since he was constantly hanging out with Bella who for some strange reason couldn't leave the mutts alone so by association he often threw her sight off. His smell was already on everything since he lived here so this was no help. That decided she zipped up the stairs to bang on the door.
After reaching the bathroom, Alice proceeded to pound on the door. "Edward hurry up and get your cold, undead butt out, were going to be late". Her small pale hands sounded loud on the reinforced oak door. She could have just knocked the whole door down. Heck any of them could. Emmett could turn this door to splinters with one hand. That wasn't the point, in a house full of vampires with hightened senses and mind readers it was the illusion of privacy that counted. "Edward come on, you know how I love to make an entrance" That was one of her favorite things; she loved to see the looks of longing in the boys eyes and the complete hatred in the girls. There was also the jealousy as she paraded around in cloths and brands that most of these girls only read about.
She began to tap her toe making a satisfying tap, tap on the tile floor. They really were nice boots, and besides she broke the five foot mark with them on. What was taking that stupid boy so long she mussed, for someone who was super fast he sure was slow. To top it all off her precog ability didn't show him coming out. "Oh well" she decided she was going in "I need my hot iron coming in" She turned the knob and opened the door striding in like a women on a mission. The first thing that happened is she almost ran straight into a chest. Alice's hand came up to stop her and to move the offending person. When her hands made contact with the skin her mind immediately screamed and she drew her hands back stepping away quickly. She must have moved a little to fast her boots really were not made for super human movements. Her heel gave way and she actually started to fall. Instantly two arms caught Alice around the waist, halting her downward decent. Were the arms touched she felt like she was being branded, heat flooded her body from every point they touched. Her eyes traveled up past the chiseled chest and the fine boned face to lock on to the most beautiful green eyes Alice had ever seen.
