Wesley Madden had been trying to convince himself, and everyone else, that he was straight for as long as he could remember. It was around the sixth grade that he realized that he might be different from most of the boys around him. He didn't care to talk about girls, or date them, or kiss them. But he did think about one person. A boy by the name of Jeremiah Fisher. His best friend, you could say. Sure, they only really saw each other during the summertime when their families would all go to the Cousins beach house, but Wesley had never felt more safe with someone else.
