I rush after him in an attempt to get him out of the apartment complex, but he's ready for me. The height difference isn't that significant, but what it is is how large he is, so he barely budges when I initially rush him in a blinding flash. I back up and try to use the momentum to shoulder attack him from the side, but I see his feet and his poster shift so quickly. The fuck? How did he-

With one motion he punches me with the largest winded up right cross of my life, dead in my face. The walls, glass, fence, car, lights flashing and then dark and then street again. I'm bouncing too fast. Find your footing FUCK. I managed to get a foothold and stick the landing. I look up.

And I see another large fist ready to punch me again. Am I ready? Can I dodge the attack? Why can I smell his fist? I steel myself, keep a firm hold to the ground and tighten every muscle in my face. BAM, a large and swelling pain instantly rises on my face but I'm in the same spot. Time to move.

He tries attacking again and his fists are more determined and refined, but I just barely manage to dodge them. I can't dodge forever. He attacks again but I dodge once more. I see an opening. NOW! I step to the left side where his ribs are and with all the momentum and strength in the world, swing with my left fist right at his stomach area. It sinks in his body, good! I plant my left foot down and swing with the right while he's stunned. My eyes are glued to him frantically, hoping this hits.

In an instant he grabs my fist. I was staring right at him, how? He tosses my hand to the side and tries to punch me but I jump back as far as I can. He uses every bit of the momentum to run at me full speed. I have no time to dodge to the side or run, so I charge forward at full speed. There's no sonic boom, I didn't have any time to build enough speed.

BOOM! I look deep into his eyes as we clash, clamping our hands together in an attempt to completely ground the other for an opening. The clash not only left my hands completely numb but the pressure is creating collateral damage around us, pushing cars back and all. He looks deep in my eyes and I at his. He looks completely focused, but for some reason I can feel that he isn't using his full strength. Was this a condition that he was given when fighting me? Who sent him? I can't feel my hands at all and my legs are starting to wane. He notices that I lose complete focus and he grips my hands using all he has. He plants one foot into the ground and one minute I'm off the ground and in the next I can see how beautiful the moon is. A foot appears directly above my eye sight and I quickly grab the foot and toss him away from me.

Time to sit up. What in the hell is with this guy? I stand on my own two feet, the environment even more chaotic than ever. The gas station's lights are out and the street is still very empty. There are craters all over the street and there's only one guy at the end of it and it's him.

So many questions. The street lights show his silhouette in dark shadow, he looks haunting. My anger flares. He clearly doesn't want to do this. "Who sent you?" I yell from across the street. He stares right there. The adrenaline fuels me. He takes a deep breath. "You know that I can't tell you that."

"Why?" I feel like I already know who it is. "He made a promise to me, that's why." He yells back. My confusion rises. "What did he promise you?"

He readies himself and I steel my body. "That my family would be safe."

He rushes at me with blinding speed and tries to punch me but I dodge to the right and I use the momentum as well as my tightened fist to slam a punch directly in his spine. I felt bones cracking. He felt it! But the punch wasn't enough to even move him. He tanked it like a guardian protecting his child. I step back to see what he does next.

"You put the safety of your family in the hands of a guy who masks himself, why would you do that?" I yell out. He just stands there, shakes his head and charges at me with full speed. I try running and dodging to the side but he's tracking me. I can't shake him and that's where he increases his speed. I'm just barely able to jump back as he attempts to land even more punches on me. "He gave me and my family the life that we deserved. My wife is happy, my baby boy and my daughter, and they don't have to worry about anything anymore. I will shoulder their burdens!"
