Current Day...

The bright lights of the convenience store contrasted with the moonlit night outside. Each boy went to their desired section, Leehan to the gummies, and Riwoo to the sweets, where he picked up a couple of cookies. Riwoo also bought two drinks for them.

"Thanks for the drink!" Leehan opened the lid and finished almost half before they were outside the store.

The boys sat outside the store, eating their snacks on the street's curb, faces lit by a far-off street lamp. "So~" Riwoo shuffled his feet. "Should we head back?"

Leehan looked down the street and back to Riwoo. "Well... since we're already out, I thought we could go to the river. Watch the moon?" Riwoo smiled.

"Of course, I love the moon," he said. The moon reminded Riwoo of love and the things he loved. He could stare at the moon and the stars all the time, and today was the perfect night for it, too.

The boys stood up from the curb, dusted their pants, and began to walk to the Han River for their night out. Being the only two on the street, the air felt silent, almost stale if not for the wind rustling the leaves in the trees and the cicadas surrounding them.

They walked in silence for a bit, enjoying their time alone as it was comfortable. Their shoulders brushed together slightly as their footsteps fell in unison. Riwoo looked to Leehan, and he couldn't help but notice how the moon reflected in his hair. He looked almost dreamy, the way his hair was being swept by the light wind. His cheeks and nose also slightly blushed from the chill.

Leehan noticed this and smiled at Riwoo, "Are you staring at me?" Flustered, Riwoo looked away and down again.

"No, no.., I was uh-" He tried to think of something that wasn't as awkward as saying that his best friend looked really handsome right now. So, he just gave up. "I was just thinking that you look really good right now…" His heart began to beat faster, and he thought it would beat out of his chest. "It's the moon reflecting against your hair, almost iridescent like..."

Leehan smiled and laughed. Oh shit, was that too much?? I'm so stupid... Riwoo thought. Leehan looked up. "Thank you..." He nudged Riwoo on the shoulder. "I was thinking the same for you... but mine is way worse," He began to laugh, and so did Riwoo.

"What?!? I told you mine. Now you have to tell me yours~" Riwoo sulked.

"Ok, ok~ I was just thinking the blush in your cheeks and nose match the pink in your hair..." He looked away, almost ashamed. He whispered, "And I love how it makes you look right now."

Riwoo almost choked. He rubbed his palms on his pants again. He finally spoke up because he noticed that Leehans face was starting to get a little bit more red than usual. "Thank you, Leehanie… that means a lot." He then grabbed Leehan's hand out of pure spontaneity and held it. Leehan looked down at the hand; his eyes widened, but he let it happen. Neither knew what they were doing but knew they didn't want to stop.

Both boys found a bench overlooking the water. The moon was perfectly aligned in front of them. They let go of each other's hands and sat silently. Riwoo and Leehan looked up at the moon, enjoying the beautiful night. Except for the occasional bird or cat that scurried by them, they were surrounded by silence in their own private world.

Riwoo broke the quiet moment between the two. He looked at the water, avoiding eye contact with Leehan because he was nervous. He could feel the heat on his face intensifying. "Leehan... you know what's really funny?"

Leehan looked at Riwoo, his eyes, his hair, his lips, his clothes. "Yes?"

"All the members think you have a crush on me..." He turned to Leehan, but once he noticed that his full body was facing towards him, Riwoo looked away. He continued, "And that I have a crush on you... isn't that so crazy?" Leehan turned back to face the river.

"I guess that is pretty silly..." Leehan looked to the ground and then back up to the moon.

Not knowing what came over him, Riwoo turned his body to face Leehan. He pulled Leehan to face him with his hand, meeting each other's gaze. Riwoo couldn't help but notice Leehan's eyes and the way they reflected the moon. Riwoo said, "Yeah, you could say that is pretty silly..."

Suddenly, Riwoo felt Leehan's lips against his. Not knowing what to do, he stood still, eyes wide open in shock. However, he liked this. Closing his eyes, he kissed Leehan back. Their hands found each other, and soon they migrated further. Riwoo brushed through Leehan's hair and the nape of his neck. He felt Leehan like this, which he had never known he wanted until now. All those years of being oblivious to this love built to this moment.

Their bodies pulled each other closer. Leehan's hand found Riwoos' waist. He grabbed hold of Riwoo. All the feelings of loving him since he first met Riwoo flooded his memory. Oh, how he had wanted this from the day they first met.

Both boys enjoyed each other, for they had both wanted this for so long. The moon cast a shining light on them, the river flowed, and the wind whistled by. But as life around them went on, Leehan and Riwoo were in their own secluded world and had finally found each other.
