Dear moon,
You'll never know how brightly
you shone.
Because it's all a reflection in a way an
illusion.
All just the sun and its stupid photons.
You just reflect what is given.
You'll never truly able to shine on your own.
That's probably what you wish most of all.
To be able to shine as bright as the stars in the sky.
You'll always be outshone.
