☆ °~ Chapter 11 (Past) ~° ☆

Narrator's Pov:

It was early in the morning, and the sun was rising outside.

While the other's were either still asleep or doing their own thing, Y/N sat on a hill outside of the circus, and watched the sun rise into the sky, followed by a firey coloured sky.

"You seem lonely, mind if I join you?" a voice said behind her.

Y/N turned her head around to see Zooble.

She smiled.

"Sure." and patted the ground next to her for them to sit down.

As Zooble sat down, they seemed a bit.. destracted, to say the least.

"Somethings up.. isn't there?"

"Hmm.." They responded.

Y/N's Pov:

Looking at Zooble's face, I could recognise that face anywhere.

"Let me guess.. another adventure?" I slightly tilted my head.

"Yeah.." they didn't even try to be sarcastic about it. I guess they are just fed up, of these Adventures.

Zooble looked at me.

"You should check if the adventure is something for you.." Zooble paused for a second.

"I would tell you more, but I don't really want to spoil the concept of the adventure, I just know that it might tickle your interest." They looked back at the horizons.

"Hm..." I got up and dusted myself of before heading off.

"See you later, Zooble."

"Mhm.."

I arrived back at the circus and went inside.

"Y/N! Perfect timing!" Caine said when he noticed me.

"Another adventure, huh?" I said.

"Exactly! And today's adventure will take you to the Candy Canyon Kingdom!"

'Oh, good grief..' I thought to myself, sarcastically.

I looked over to Ragatha, Pomni, and Gangle.

The two were talking while Gangle was listening, and she seemed excited about today's adventure.

I walked over o them, and while passing by Jax, I heard him say something under his breath, which I couldn't quite hear.

"You seem excited." I said, with a hand on my waist, as I looked at Gangle.

"Mhm!" For once, she had her happy mask, not broken by Jax (yet..).

"Without further a do, the kingdom awaits you!" Caine said before shoving us all through a portal before any of us could say anything else.

As we recovered from the dizziness of the travel through the portal, we all found ourselves on a carriage that was pulled.. by an elephant? I won't even question it.

"If you ask me, this place has too many colours.." Jax said.

"Yeah, you do kinda have a point.." I said.

"Oh, come on, it's amazing, and better than the circus, right?"

"Eh, I'd rather be there.." I giggled.
