10. Interview

Pratik's Point of View:

I don't know why I am sweating even though the waiting room is well air-conditioned. 'Am I nervous?' I asked myself in my mind. 'Come on Pratik, Come on! Tujhe nervous hone ki yā tension lene ki koi jaroorat nahi hai. Agar tu apnā best degā aur tere nasib mein hogā tho ye job tujhe hi milegi.'(Come on Pratik, Come on! You don't have to be nervous or take tension. If you give your best and this job is destined to you, then it will be only your's.) I comfort myself saying this, but still I am tensed, because I know sending me to study here has cost a lot to my family, so I want to at least not burden them with my life expenses. I have to find a job to settle my daily expenses as soon as possible.

As I was in my train of thoughts, a voice attract my attention. a lady calling my name. Looks young, but as I am in Korea for a while now I can't exactly predict how old is she, but in formal suit she look beautiful yet carries vibe of authority. As I stand up from where I was sitting, She looked at me and asked to go into the interview room. I walk to the door with my file in hand. I hold the handle, and before I push the door open I call for my ultimate friend my Ganpati bappā. With him, I am surer than anything that everything will be fine. And with the smile which is not artificial, but a calm smile which also comes on the face while thinking or looking at this ultimate friend, I entered the room.

Author's Point of View:

"Oh Pratik, You are here. how was your interview?" Honhyeol asked as I open the door of our apartment. "You are Home? Don't go to work today?" Pratik asked back. "Yeah, I asked for a sick leave." Honhyeol said while scratching her cheek. "Sick leave? What happen? You were well in the morning." Pratik asked with concern. "It's not that important. The important topic is, How was your interview?" Honhyeol pulled Pratik into the couch to sit and fill a cup of water at dinner table and give it to Pratik. "Yeah, It go well. Actually, better that I expected." Pratik said with the tired smile. "I know you want to find a source of income so that you can lessen the burden of your parents, Niyati has told me. Don't worry, I am sure that you have given your best in the interview, And if you can't succeed here, try anywhere else." She said while patting his shoulder and added "You will find a job sooner or later. But, Don't stress yourself, it's not health." And she stand up and said "Go, Get shower. I will find something to cook something delicious to cheer you up." "It's ok. You don't have to cook. I will cook something for both of us. Just give me 20 minutes." Pratik said.

"So you saying I don't cook well?" Honhyeol said with staring Pratik in anger. "I don't say that. I just said ....." Pratik try to explain but got cut in between. "That why was meaning huh?" Honhyeol said. "I just said that you don't have to cook alone. I will help you with cutting. You know Baekhyun literally chopped off his toes that day. So I thought that ....." Pratik try to explain himself again and got cut in between again. "You think I has clumsy like that Trouble Baby (Honhyeol calls Baekhyun by this name)?" She asked. "You know what? I thought that my friend that come home after give such a important interview. So would be tired. I should cook something for him. But , You are just too much." Honhyeol said with increasing anger. "Honhyeol, What is going on with you? You are behaving very short-tempered today." Pratik asked. He don't get it why is she to unreasonable. "Nothing is happening to me. I am saying it for a last time. Go take shower and I WILL GO COOK SOMETHING. And Don't you dare to enter the kitchen before I finish." Honhyeol order. "Ok, ok! I am going. But be careful." Pratik said. "Yeah, OK" Honhyeol replied. "You are acting weird today." Pratik murmured. With these He walked to the bathroom and Honhyeol  goes in the kitchen and starts cooking.
