"Are you sure we'll find it here?"

"Of course, this is where most of those little pests hide, anyways. Why wouldn't a bigger, green one be here, too? Dummy." J reasoned expertly, tearing away the doors to some cabinets.

"I don't know. Why would Cy- eh, the company want us to stop our main mission to kill all workers just for some stupid bug?" V foolishly asked, ripping up the floorboards of the upstairs area, creating a hole to communicate through.

J rolled her eyes, "Don't know, don't care. We were given a task and we will complete it, no defiance or rebellion. N." J shot a harsh glare at the idiot. Seriously, how did he let himself get convinced to rebel by the very thing he was meant to kill?

N's eyes widened in shock before he resumed searching, looking dejected and confused. The nerve of that useless idiot.

Seriously, leave the planet? Ridiculous. Not until the company wanted them to.

"I think I found it!-... Along with a worker corpse." N called out.

"Oooh, a snack!" V crawled upside down through the hole she made a second ago, jumping down and grabbing the corpse, cracking it and attempting to drink the oil inside. "Ugh, it's empty!"

She threw it to the side, grunting with effort. J rushed over and grabbed the bug tight enough to break it in two, but just soft enough to keep that from happening.

"Nice work. At least you're not totally worthless to us." J said with a smug smile as if she did all the work. V rolled her eyes.

"So what now?" V asked, putting her hands on her hips. "Where do we go? You said it was meant to be a key or something, but to what?"

J tapped the side of her head, sending a notice to the company...

"I've contacted the company. We should be receiving coordinates soon. In the mean time, N, V. Split up and scout the area. If you see any workers, you know what to do."

"On it!"

"Whatever."

J deployed her wings took flight with them before turning and going off on her own. She'd notify them when she got the-

J flew off to find the destination the coordinates would take her to. Maybe N would get there last. That would be of no surprise.

What she didn't expect, at all, was for him to be there first and waiting.

"Hi, J!" N yelled when he saw her in the sky. He was waving. "I got your message!"

J made sure her landing was powerful, creating a gust of strong wind that nearly toppled N. Luckily, that meant he didn't see her nearly knock herself over.

"Surprised you're here so soon, moron. I expected you to take the longest." She barely kept from spitting it out like it was some bitter, rotting flesh and she had taste buds.

"Haha, yeah, for a minute there, I thought I was at the wrong spot! I almost flew off to look around the area!" N laughed. When he saw J had a look of annoyance, his eyes widened and he looked away.
