A day with the family

"Aurora wake up, where here" my mom says pulling into the driveway

I wake up and instantly realizing....

"Holy shit our family's rich!!!"

"Language Aurora, don't make me wash your mouth with soap" she says eyeing me through the mirror

I look around as we continue to pull in, they have a while lot of land, I wonder why

Their house is big as hell, two story with lots of windows and doors, I wonder how many rooms they have??

I looked even more seeing farm animals and horses in the far distance, "oh my goodness, I wished that we came here a long time ago" I squealed

My mom slightly chuckled "yeah too bad they don't want to see our face"

Oh yeah I forgot that, how will they react when seeing me?..what if we have to stay the night and they want to go camping?!

Oh my there gonna have a field day with me!

"Hey cheer up, your family probably changed over the years" Miranda says trying to calm the nerves

My mom sighs "thanks Miranda you always know what to say"

We finally reached the house and we got out,

"Aurora, you don't leave my side or Mirandas while we're are here, you got it?"

I slightly nod my head and took a deep breath "here is the moment of truth, I'm finally gonna meet my grandparents"

My mom pressed the doorbell and the whole house ranged a old bell jingle song

"You know what I'll just stay in the-

I'm interrupted by the door swinging open
A old men with silver hair looks down upon me and my mom

"Hey daddy" my mom said

" Susan who have you brought here?" He says eyeing me down

She grabs my hand and pulls me closer to her "she's my daughter..daddy, and that's Miranda, you already know her" she says sternly

He hums a bit as he arch his lip a bit
"Look all I came here for was to see what my part of the will was" she says

He rolls his eyes and leads us in the house
All the cars must have there own house cause there were a lot of people in the living room
And all their heads turned on me.

"Everyone welcome back Suzan and her guests" he says swiftly

My mom clears her throat " actually this is my daughter Aurora, aurora, family, family, aurora" my mom says giving a fake smile

"Look mama, she had chocolate skin" the little girl says, I narrow my eyebrows a bit as some of the family laughs

"Ignore there incompetence okay sugar plum" Miranda whispers into my ear, I nod quickly trying not to blush much

My mom grabs my hand and looked at her dad
"Where's my poppa?"

He doesn't says anything but walks us to the back of the house, he leads us to a small little out house and opens the door

The fucking man was in a coffin, dead and in a out house, I'm good I'm ready to get the hell out of here before I find myself in here

We head back inside as we hear slight thunder coming from a far

"His funeral is, tomorrow, come if you want that's when the reading starts"
