Last week was the worst week ever. I hurt my foot and didn't do the group dance but I did my solo which was sloppy and a mess and I forgot a part and I got fourth and Mackenzie got 10th because she fell and got hurt and forgot her dance. Chloe got fifth. The trio got 3rd. And the group dance got fifth. Worst week ever
"Girls! Let's go! Hurry up!" Abby yells as we come in the room and line up. I was standing beside Kenzie and Chloe
"Girls? You walked into this room just as sluggish and boring as you walked out on that stage" Abby says
I bit my lip
"Zero energy"
"You have to come out there with energy. You can't get halfway through the number and then peter out. You're boring!" Abby says
Pyramid
"So. At the bottom of the pyramid: Maddie" Abby reveals Maddie's head shot
And I was shocked. Maddie's' never been on the very bottom of the pyramid
"Maddie, you had an opportunity to dance. That didn't happen. They announced you, and you're bawling in the audience. That is unacceptable behavior. You're nine years old. When opportunity knocks, open the door" Abby says
I felt bad for Maddie
"Next: Mackenzie. Mackenzie, your routine was a winning number. You were tenth. I don't do tenth" Abby says
"Next: Maci. You also had a winning routine. It was right down your alley. You were going to go to L.A and represent the Abby Lee Dance Company and show L.A what you got. But that all went bye bye when you were playing in the dancers den and got hurt. Couldn't do the group dance and got fourth in your solo division. What a waste of going to L.A" Abby says to me
I bit my lip. I think I let Miss Abby down
"Next: Paige. You went out there, you looked great, you forgot a step. You can't forget a step"
"Brooke. Brooke, you're here because you give me this much. I don't see this effervescent personality. You just see this fake little smile. You're concentrating so much not to screw up the dance, you can't have fun out there" Abby says
"Next, I have Nia. Nia, again, you're here because you showed responsibility, you quit fooling around, and I didn't have to hear your mouth all day long. Yes?"
"And on top of the pyramid, again, is Chloe" Abby reveals her head shot
