–"The princess came to age. All the noble men started to send latters to The Duke.But the Duke never replied to those letters.Not even opened it."
"Why?..what if those letters were about some business matters??.."

Sonia's curiosity was developing suspense of the story.Jiwon-yoon was enjoying to see her interest in that story.Jiwon-yoon was saying that story just to see that expression and curiosity of her.She again started to continue the story.

–"The Duke was The General of Korea's '1st Divison Knight' and he was the weapons supplier of korean military agencies that time.So,there was zero chance that some merchant would sent him some letters for business matter.And,those noble men direct came to the mansion with bouquets to see the princess when The Duke didn’t replied to those letters."
"Wait....soooo..those letters were about The marriage proposal for Princess...right?"
"Exactly."

Sonia again poured coffee in her cup while saying her opinion.She didn’t even saw that Jiwon-yoon finished the whole bucket of cookies while talking.

–"The Duke was scared to hand her precious daughter to some Korean.."
"Eh?!..why?"
"We all know the ancient culture of the Asia.Don't we?"
"Which culture??..There were so many culture in asia in ancient time.."

Sonia was thinking that which culture Jiwon-yoon was trying to point.Jiwon-yoon drank water from the water bottle that she carried and again started to talk.

–"Most of the asian countries had the culture of having concubines.That wasn't in just asia but to other continent too.But in asia it's circulation was so much.The Duke even thought of not handing his daughter to anyone.But,The Princess can't stay to the mansion for the rest of her life.So,by force he had to hand over his lovely daughter to a noble man.At that time his son also took the title of the duke."
"And then, both of the siblings led a happy life and The Duke passed away happily.What a happy ending."

Jiwon-yoon smiled to Sonia and opened her lips.

–"Wish that story was like that."
"Why?what's wrong??"

Sonia couldn’t solve the puzzle beacuse of what Jiwon-yoon was saying.

–"3 Years after the marriage of Princess,her father died in mysterious way.Not just it was stopped in here.after her father's death,The duke i mean her 2nd brother was poisoned and died."
"What??"

Sonia was shocked that the story turned out to be like this.She thought it was a fairy tale,where everyone had a happy ending but it was not.

–"Shocked??....That's why i said..wish that the story was like that..i was also shocked when i studied about this family history.But there is a big plot twist you know??"
"What is it??"

Sonia was craving to hear what happened next.But Jiwon-yoon wanted to keep the suspence.

–"We don't understand a whole book just by reading it's last page.We need to read it's middle and first pages too to understand it well.Don't we?"

Sonia realized that what Jiwon-yoon was trying to say.She sighed and apologised for hurrying up.

–"I'm sorry.Please tell me what happened after the Duke's death.Who handled the family that time then??"
"When the financial situation of the Lee household was bad,that time the princess took the title and became the head of the household."
"The princess??"
"Yes,the princess.She made more money that made the Lee household most significant family of the empire."
"Woww!!......that's what we call the power of women"

Sonia started to praise the princess.

–"Don't you want to hear the plot twist??....Miss Sonia?"

Jiwon-yoon smirked at Sonia.Sonia was a bit scared to see her smirk.But also got the chance to hear the plot twist.

–"O-obviously....i want to...what is it..sister Jiwon-yoon??"

Sonia was avoiding her endless gaze.But she need to look at her after what she said.

–"The princess was the one who killed everyone in her family."
"..........what??!!!"

Sonia was terrified just to hear.What would happened if something like that was happened with her.

–"She was more terrible than now you're thinking...she finally found her brother's weakness and it was his father.She didn't even hesitate to kill her own father who deared her more than anyone."

The more story was going further,the more she was getting shocked.Seriously,she couldn't even imagine that the Lee family's story can be that terrible.But she got hold of herself.Finally,she got the chance to know everything.

–"Her plan was going smoothly. According her plan she then became the Duchess of Lee Household. It was a great achievement for The Princess. After becoming Duchess, she gave birth of twin.The daughter died after 3 days of birth.Then,only another twin,her son,was remain alive.Then,he grew up and became the next successor of Lee family."
"Soo...it means that the Lee family's journey start by...... The Princess?!?!"

Sonia couldn’t believe it.She thought that The Lee family is the descendant of any young duke of The Lee Households duke.But Jiwon-yoon proved her idea wrong.

Sonia asked that question not from her curiositys.She asked that to just saw her expression.

Sonia went silent.Because,By this statement Jiwon-yoon meant that she likes her. Even if this world stand against her only Jiwon-yoon would stand by her side and support her.They have met just once but within these 2 days,she trust and adore her this much.

–"Oh,my times up.I heared that start from tomorrow, you're gonno join your hospital again.Right?"
"Ah..yeah.I have took around 1 week day off and tomorrow i have to join."
"Then good luck.Also,the cookies were so tasty that i finished the whole basket.Sorry"

Jiwon-yoon really finished the whole cookies basket.That time Sonia noticed that seriously Jiwon-yoon finished whole cookies.But she didn't said anything.

–"Ah.It's okay.I didn’t mind."
"So great of you Sonia.Then,please excuse me today.We are gonna meet again.Soon.....oh!!...another thing,quickly you're gonna meet your partner so be prepared."
"My partner???!"

Jiwon-yoon gave that news to Sonia with a smile as usual.After delivering that news Jiwon-yoon again got vanished from her eyes like before.
