So that is Scarlet.

Louis stares at the petite figure walking beside his brother, in her hands is a luggage of her belongings. William smiles as he talks to the small lady, and Louis furrows his eyebrows.

She looks like a burden to my brother.

His frown immediately disappears when William turns his gaze to him. "Ah, Louis," oh, how he loves his brother's smile. "This is Scarlet. She's going to live with us from now on."

The corners of his lips twitch up as he puts his hand on his chest and bows slightly. "Nice to meet you, Miss Scarlet. I'm Louis, William's younger brother." He introduces himself as William nodded his head in approval.

The female smiles in return, and unlike his, her smile looks genuine. "Thank you for having me, my lord." She nods her head slightly, a humbleness that he has never thought she would have.

But he knows better than to come to a conclusion. It's still too early for him to give his judgement whether she's safe to stay with or not. But for now, he'll just observe.

"Let me carry your things," Louis offers and takes her luggage from her grip, startling her. "Eh-" she gasps, "N-No needs! I can carry it myself," she exclaims, her hands reaching back to the luggage holder but Louis moves them away from her grasp. "I insist," he says gently, yet firmly. "This luggage is heavy. I don't want your delicate hands to get sore."

Scarlet curses internally as she tries to keep the warmth from spreading to her cheeks. 'Why is he so-' she cuts whatever thoughts she has at the moment.

"I-If you insist," she stutters, her gaze averting to the ground. 'Don't, (name), your heart belongs to William, only William-'

Louis smiles and starts walking to her new room (she assumes) as William takes her hand in his, and she jumps internally. "Allow me to be your tour guide, Scarlet." He offers her a gentle smile, his hand intertwining with hers, and she can now die in peace.

She immediately looks away, feeling her heart beating fast as if she just ran a marathon. "O-Only if it isn't a burden to you," she stutters curtly.

"You, a burden? Not in a lifetime, Scarlet."

'God, kill me-'

"Huh, she's really moving in here?" Sebastian hums in amusement. "Did William tell her why he wanted her to stay here?"

"Doubt. He must've said that he wanted to make a deal with her." Louis sighs, shaking his head as he returns his gaze on his brother and the girl. Sebastian bores his eyes on them, "Should've told her that he wanted to protect her." He mumbles, and Louis glances at him from his side before looking away.

He adjusts his glasses and frowns. "I still see nothing special about her. Why is my brother so interested in her?" He mumbles, his eyes watching her every move. He has everything ready; pocket knives, guns, and he even goes as far as poisoning. If she ever does something to his dear brother, he'll instantly end her poor life.

Moran chuckles at his wariness. "Don't be too on guard," he smiles. "I've met her before. She's not a threat. She's just a clumsy little chick, if you ask me." Louis frowns at him, "That's not how you address a lady, Sebastian. Even if she's a commoner or a slave," He scolds the older man.
