Chapter Four

As the sun continued to rise, the rest of the crew stirred, and the sounds of the morning routine began to fill the air. Sanji was already busy in the kitchen, whipping up a hearty breakfast for the crew, while Nami, Robin and Brook sat on the deck, sipping their morning coffee and chatting about their plans for the day. Chopper, ever the curious one, was busy examining the local wildlife, fascinated by the unique creatures that inhabited the island they had docked at.

Meanwhile, Luffy and Y/N remained oblivious to the commotion around them, lost in their own little world of dreams. Luffy's snores were a gentle hum, and Y/N's soft breathing was the perfect harmony to his melody. The crew couldn't help but snicker at the sight, and even the usually serious Roronoa Zoro cracked a smile as he watched the pair sleep.

As the morning wore on, the crew began to gather around the sleeping duo, whispering and pointing at the adorable scene before them. Franky couldn't resist the opportunity to capture the moment on camera, snapping photos and making funny faces in the background.

Just as it seemed like the whole crew was about to burst out laughing, Luffy suddenly sat up, rubbing his eyes and looking around in confusion. Y/N, still half-asleep, clung to him, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist. The crew held their collective breath, waiting to see what would happen next.

Luffy, still disoriented, looked down at Y/N and smiled, his eyes lighting up with excitement. "Y/N! You're still here!" he exclaimed, as if he had been worried she might have disappeared in the night.

Y/N, still groggy, opened her eyes to find Luffy's face inches from hers. She blinked rapidly, taking in the scene around her. The crew was staring at her, grinning from ear to ear, and Luffy was holding her in a tight embrace. Her cheeks flushed bright red as she realized the situation.

"Oh, um, sorry about this," Y/N stammered, trying to extricate herself from Luffy's grasp. But Luffy just held on tighter, still half-asleep.

"No, no, no! You can't leave!" he mumbled, his voice muffled against her shoulder.

The crew erupted into laughter at this, and even Y/N couldn't help but giggle at the absurdity of it all. As the laughter died down, Sanji called out from the kitchen, "Breakfast is ready, everyone! Come and get it while it's hot!"

The crew began to disperse, chatting and laughing as they made their way to the kitchen. Luffy, being the biggest foodie there, quickly stumbled after them, his eyes still half-closed as he dragged Y/N along. Y/N, still blushing, couldn't help but smile at the silly sight.

As they sat down to eat, Nami turned to Y/N and whispered, "Welcome to the crew, Y/N. I think you're going to fit right in."

Y/N grinned, feeling a sense of belonging she hadn't experienced in a long time. She knew that this was just the beginning of an incredible adventure, and she was excited to see what the future held for her and the Straw Hat Pirates.

As they dug into their breakfast, the crew couldn't help but tease Luffy about his newfound affection for Y/N. But Luffy just shrugged, his mouth full of food. "What? I just like sleeping with people, okay?"

The crew burst out laughing again, and Y/N playfully rolled her eyes. "You're such a weirdo, Luffy."

Luffy grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Hey, that's why they call me the captain!" And with that, the Straw Hat Pirates continued their meal, already planning their next move, with Y/N now firmly a part of their quirky little family.
