I finally found something to wear. Mom let me borrow one of her dresses that Dad bought her. "Why are you freaking out?" Mom asks. "Cause, this is my first date with Jeilani he's one of the best people in the whole school.." I say. "Jeliani will love it." I say. "Alright mommy." I say. Dad wanted to drive me. I flat ironed my hair for this. I never do it. One my hair is too long for me to do it.
"Baby. Jeilani is here." Dad says. I finish putting on my red bottoms my Uncle Kav gave me. Downstairs Mom, Dad, Uncle Kav, and Jeilani were in the living room. "Hey Jeilani. This is my Mom Madison Beckham. This my Dad OBJ. And my godfather Kavahra." I say. "Hi Mr and Mrs. Beckham." he nods at Kav. "Be safe Cassie." My dad says. "Take care of her. You only get one chance bruh man." Uncle Kav says. Jeilani has a Porsche. All leather interior. "This is nice." I say.
"Thank you. Your family is cool." he says with a cute smile. "Don't judge them. My Uncle Kav travels a lot and when he comes around he spoils me so much. My godmom Gina, when she's in town. She out does Uncle Kav and my Dad put together." I say.
"Sounds like you have the best godparents going." he says. "No lie I do." I say.
We arrived at one of the old timey movie theaters in the city. "Wow. How did you find this place?" I ask. "Easy. Me and some friends found it a few years back." he says.
