When I woke up there was trees scattered on the ground. Huge gashes had been torn into the ground. I didn't know how I had lived.
I pulled myself out from under a few branches and twigs that had formed a tent around me.
I looked around for the two cats I had heard talking... where were they?
I scanned the rugged, broken forest for the two. What I saw was not a good sight.
Two bodies lay on the ground. Blood seeped out of deep cuts all over them.
What had happened?
I suspected it had something to do with that huge eye... I just didn't understand how... Or what.
As I approached the dead bodies I noticed their mouths were gaped open and even more blood was trickling out of their mouth.
I shivered. I had to get out of this strange place.
That was when I noticed something even stranger.
The two cat bodies weren't just any cats. They were snake cats.
