CHAPTER:4

Today was very hectic day for me. Even though I operated one surgery only but still I was exhausted. When I arrived home I saw Diya was fighting with her mother regarding how she gets bored staying at home and started crying(of course magarmach ke aansu 😅).
Hence, I decided to take her to Shivji's mandir which is near to our house. When we came back from mandir I heard familiar voice.

Aha! Nivedita aai hai. It was long time ago when she last visited. She was wearing light blue colour dress and little accessories with it. That's what I like about girls who dresses very minimal and simple.Nivedita is also that kind of girl who carries herself effortlessely and maintains simplicity.

     Kehne Jaye toh Nivedita mere best friend ki choti behen hai vese bohot bubbly, straight forward, outspoken hai per jab bhi mere aas-pass hoti hai achank se unka behaviour change ho jata hai pata nahi kyun? Villan samjhti hai mujhe ya fir ladkiyon ko alag nazariye se dekhne vala samjhti hai?
(Here I meant to mention the hypocrite behaviour of some men they usually support females of their house but when it comes to justify other women they do not find it appropriate to support. I just want to say ki aaesa nahi sochna ki agar aapke Ghar ke aurataein  sapna dekhe toh voh hakeket par koi ger ladki ka sapna sapna he hai ki jab aankhe  kholi toh toot Gaya.)
    Anyways but amid of these   her beautiful smile applied brakes to my vivid thoughts.

I cleared my throat in order to announce my presence but I guess she was busy talking with Diya. But I saw she was offering chocolates  to Diya which I denied but in vain as  Anjali di allowed her to eat chocolates. As doctor I wouldn't allow Diya to eat these as she eats them everyday now.

     We all started having dinner and I noticed everyone was done with dinner even though Nivedita. But I wanted to talk to her and started our conversation by asking her how was her work life going to which she replied hesistantly. After dinner everybody got settled in living room and started chatting. When suddenly Nivedita said she is going home as it 10:30 already. To which my sweet roop di insisted that I should drop her home.
       Matlab mujhe kuch problem nahi hai kyunki mujhe Nivedita ko vese bhi janane ka mauka chahiye tha. But I started thinking about Nivedita who might be uncomfortable.

        "Naa uski jarurat nahi me chali jaungi dii you need not worry about it. Chalo bye and--"
"No it's not okay I will drop you and also it's been while I met nirav. Come"
          "But---"
            "Are jab Kabir ne bola toh chali Jaa. Itna bhaav bhi nahi khana chahiye"Sahiba insisted her and finally she said yes.
She is kind of stubborn.
          "I am waiting downstairs"I said to her.

NIVEDITA'S POV:
     
          When I went downstairs I saw he was already there and attending some call. I didn't disturb him and sat next to driver's seat. Around 15 minutes later he sat beside me and turned on car engine.I saw him stealing glances at me which made me furious and confused too and I asked abruptly.

           "Kuch kehna-puchna chahte hai kya"?
"Nahi toh"he replied
              "Toh fir aaese 5-5 minute me dekh kyun rahe hai"?
"I thought you might be uncomfortable that's why sorry if it made you--"
                 "No I am sorry I asked you out of nowhere and that caught you off-guard"
"Man me Jo ho voh puch Lena chahiye taki baad me koi confusion na ho jo aage jakar misunderstanding ka Karan ban sakti hai"
                    "Naa aaesa kuch bhi nahi"I smiled little while saying it because I know I was lying.
"Jhooth na bole"he mumbled(but was audible to me). Why did he say like that? Such a weirdo.
Instead he said"kuch nahi. Aapka Ghar aa Gaya".

It almost took 45 min for us to reach my home. Ma already slept as she knew that I was visiting Dr.kabir's House. She also shares very good bond with him and his sisters too. But  when I entered I

saw Bhai was still waiting for me so'TYPICAL' of him 😃.

     "Aree waah AAP ab padhari maharani. Ek kaam kariye vahi pay kyu nahi ruk gayi aap..I know maa  trusts you so do I but mujhe tere safety ki chinta rehti hai. Ek ladki hokar bhi--"
      "Chill kar Nirav mai drop kar ne aaya hu Nivedita ko"Dr. Kabir interrupted.
 

   Thanks to him pata nahi Varna kya hota firse Bhai ka lecture suna padta. Kitni baar bata chuki hu choti nahi ab me fir bhi chote bachche ki tarah daant lagate hai.

      "Kabir after so many days. I guess ma forgot to tell me but still you should not come this much late. Aur next time shayad me allow bhi na Karu"Bhai said strictly.
Why does he always have to do like that? Itna bhi kya strict hona 🥲. Hate you Bhai.

    But again Dr. Kabir interrupted"Bhai Bhai chill, Shanti rakh kyu daant Raha hai. Tujhe bata du Sahiba ne Nivedita ko insist Kiya tha isliye."
     "But I care about her she is my only sister Kabir. Choti hai voh mujhe se usse duniya ki kaha khabar tu jaanta toh hai kesi hai voh. Fir Bhai uski side le Raha hai kya yaar."
    "I know I also have 3 sisters and definitely from my experience I am saying you don't have to dominate her."he explained him.

I know Bhai has always being strict towards me but deep down I know he loves me and wants best about me. But I must say Dr. Kabir has some good persuading skills.I am impressed.
Hain what am I thinking shut up Nivedita.
      
       "Toh fir milte hai"Bhai said
        "Aur Saturday ko apni vali jagah"he replied.
