Vincent's POV:
It's already 10:00 am, but he's still not here.
Rody usually gets here one minute early or barely right on time, but today is different. It's not even his day off today.
Honestly if he quits the job without me knowing, I'll be upset. Or maybe he's just wasting his time on Manon again. Whatever, why should I care? I don't even like him.
Seconds became minutes, minutes became hours. I got tired of waiting, wondering if he'll be ever coming around. Until I eventually saw him around 3:16 pm.
"Lamoree, you're late-", I couldn't finish my sentence by how messy he looked. His hair is like a bird nest, he was heavily panting, he was swearing a lot, he was visibily tired and he kept sneezing.
"Sorry Vince, I just feel a little sick", he replied as he sneezed like a panda. He's so cute- no he isn't. Come on, you're not a simp, right?
I quickly put my hand in his forehead, and he was burning hot. I grabbed his hand and pulled him into my office and let him sit on my chair.
"Rody, you have a high fever. I can't just let you get sicker- I mean I can't let the customers see you like this", I said.
He chuckled softly as he rested his head on my shoulder. "I'm fine, Vince. You don't need to worry about me- ACHOO!", he sneezed.
"Come on, let's go to my apartment", I said as I carried him bridal style (bro it took him 20 minutes 😭😭😭) and laid him on my bed. I was about to walk away when he grabbed my wrist gently.
"I want you to stay~", he mumbled to me as he pulled me in the bed and began cuddling my arm lightly as he started giggling.
I sighed as I sat up. "Rody, you know I need to go. I can't stay here 24/7, also where is Manon?", I asked as he gave me a cute sad face.
"She doesn't know, and besides she's busyyyyyyyy~", he whined. I stroked his hair gently.
"Fine, I'll stay for you", I whispered to him as he laid down on my lap. I was totally not blushing. I held his hand gently as I laid down.
He began to sleep peacefully on top of me (NO DIRTY MINDED PEOPLE ALLOWED 👹👺) as he cuddled me even more deeply. I look at him and smiled.
"I love you", I whispered. Suddenly, I heard a voice.
"I love you too", he answered. I was red as his hair. I didn't know he was awake and was pretending to be asleep.
"You were... awake?", I asked as he grinned. He pulled me closer as we're inches apart.
"I always was~", he teased. I covered my face from embarrassment. I kissed him on the forehead gently.
"Promise me this: you'll never leave my side, forever", I whispered to him. He smiled softly.
"I promise", he whispered back.
