A/n: Here we are everyone. We've finally reached the end. This is the end of an era for me. So many days of writer's block, researching face claims, and diving into a realm overlooked in the MCU. I love all my readers dearly, but I have to end this book sometime.
I wake up in a grassy field. There's a pleasant breeze, and I look up. There's tall, golden gates. I stand up and take in a breath. It's the most refreshing breath I've ever taken. What happened? Did I die? My question is answered when I see Loki opening the gates. "They put a sword in your hand."
"They did?"
"Well, Eirik did. He wanted to make sure you got in here with me. Smart boy, he is--"
He's cut off suddenly by me jumping into his arms. "Darling--"
"Hush. I haven't seen you in years. I want to feel you."
Loki wraps his arms around me firmly. He's letting me know he's not letting me go anytime soon. "Eirik will make a fine king," he murmurs. "He will. And a fine warrior."
"You're going to be surprised to see someone."
"Who?"
Just then my question is answered. "Azalena. It's so good to see you again." It's Natasha. And Tony. "You...you died?" I ask, hugging both of them tightly. "Well, it's her fault. She's the one who jumped off a cliff," Tony smirks, elbowing Nat. "Where are the others?" I turn to Loki, and look to Nat and Tony. She answers, "Steve's gone. He went back in time and spent his life with Peggy. Time travel stuff. As for the others...they've gone their separate ways."
Loki reaches out his hand and it's cool, but warm. Just how he was in life. "Ready to go?" I nod, kissing him. "Through life, through death. I will always love you."
"As I will, my flower."
