chapter 11: a sudden plan

A month later..
Dev and abhi was walking in the corridors of the college and entered there class realising they were again late..

Teacher: Abhishek and dev... This is the last warning agar next time late aye toh bahar hin khade rehna...

Both: sorry mam

They entered and sat behind Ananya and vaishnavi who were suppressing their laugh looking at their expressions from the corner of their eyes..

Dev: tum dono ko ajjkal zyada hasi nehi aarahi!

Ananya: tum dono ajjkal kuch zyada bunk nehi maar rahe👀...

Between their khit pit the teacher raised her voice a little and caught everyone's attention...

Teacher- students as the freshers party is over... Our college is arranging an educational trip as well as a picnic for the students of 1st year and 3rd year... Ananya you will guide the students of 3rd year and sidvnu will assistance you with the students of 1st year... Am I understood?

Ananya - yes mam.

Teacher - so students you can give your names to her once we finalize the place and bookings...

After the lecture they were going towards the canteen gossiping about the trip

Ananya - guys .... Tum sab ko aana he no matter what!

Abhi- canteen band he... Mujhe coffee chahiye thi

Vaishu- bahar ke stalls mar gaye?🙄

Abhi- nehi but...

Dev- iss baat ka kaun tension leta he... Idhar turning pe hin ek cafe he

Abhi- chal fir pikke ate he..

Dev- tum teeno jao mujhe Ghar jaana he.. thoda kaam he..

Ananya - infact mujhe v Ghar jaana he ajj papa Mysore se wapas aarahe he... 11 baje flight ki landing thi... Ab tak pahaunch v gaye honge Ghar! (Looked at her watch)

Dev- then tum dono jao.. we will leave for home..

Abhi- ok chal bye...

Vaishu- bub-byeee..

They both left in opposite directions...

Dev was taking out his bike from parking when ananya was trying her best to kick start her scooter with an irritating face with a helmet tied on her head..
He got up from the bike and helped her to start the scooter...

Dev- repair karna padega shayad..

Ananya - hmm... Tum jao mein auto se chali jaungi.. (she took out her phone to book an auto)

Dev- aur scooter?

Ananya - ye andar park kardungi.. watchman uncle ka Ghar he safe rahega!

Dev- accha ok.. park kardo.. mein drop kardunga (sat on his bike wearing his helmet)

Ananya - no need ... I can manage!

Dev- ek hin colony mein rehte he.. kyun bekar mein paise waste karna.. jaldi aao..

She again denied but finally agreed seeing the heat...
She parked the scooty and sat behind him maintaining a proper distance

Dev- comfortably betho koi ganster nehi hun mein (said looking at her through the mirror)

Ananya - ya ya I am comfortable... Tum chalooo

They were heading towards home while talking and arguing when suddenly ananya had a stinging headache where she saw she was sitting on bike with a guy and her arms wrapped around him lovingly and her chin is placed on his shoulder.. nothing was clear but she could differenciate the things happening inside her brain she unconsciously placed her hand on dev's shoulder holding tight in her grip... Dev parked the bike near a tree feeling her strong grip on his left shoulder... He turned his head towards ananya and placed his palm on her cheek

Dev- ananya (soft and calm voice)

She jerked open her eyes feeling his touch and loosened her grip on his shoulder and took back her hands

Dev- are you ok? (Caressed her cheek)

Ananya - hmm.. wo Zara headache sa hua.. that's why- don't worry let's go (gave a faint smile)

Dev- pakka? (Wiped a droplet of tear in the corner of her eyes with his thumb)

Ananya held his palm which was on her cheek and nodded yes with a smile... He nodded and started driving his bike
