The super smash brothers franchise has gathered a lot of characters from all over game franchises for the past few years, however there are definitely a few I think we could/should have gotten.

1) Mile, "Tails," Prower

I think Tails would have been interesting because not only is he a new Sonic rep, but he has some things that make him unique

Neutral special: could be his arm Cannon and have a charge up
Up special: Him using his tails to fly upwards for a short period of time
Side special: Spin dash
Down special: Unsure at the moment
Final Smash: Something too do with the Tornado for sure

2) Shadow the hedgehog

Smash Ultimate gave us the concept of echo fighters, but we only got 6. I feel like Shadow could have made a good echo fighter of Sonic with a few tweaks in attacks and movement animations. Also gives us another Sonic rep.

Neutral special: Chaos Spear, which could function similarly to Palutena's Neutral special
Up Special: Chaos Control (Teleport), which would allow Shadow to teleport similar to other teleporting characters.
Side special: Spin Dash
Down Special: Chaos Control (Counter), he would pull out a Chaos Emerald, call Chaos Control, and disappear when he gets hit, reappear behind the opponent, and kick them in the back of their head.
Final Smash: Super Shadow, functions similar to Super Sonic.

These are characters I really want I the next game, I have a few more ideas but not nearly as thought about as these ones.

1) Zoroark (Gen 5 Pokémon rep)
2) Noah (Xenoblade Chronicals 3 rep)
3) Sypro (Spyro the dragon [A guy can dream right?])
4) Octoling (Echo fighter for inkling + Splatoon rep)
5) Crash Bandicoot (Crash Bandicoot)
6) Paper Mario (Paper Mario rep)
7) Mii Mage (Based on a YouTube video I just saw)
8) Gadget the wolf/Rookie (Sonic rep and each special can be a wispon that is used in the game)
9) Dry Bowser (Bowser echo fighter)
10) Classic Sonic (Sonic rep and echo fighter)

Final smash changes:
Change Young Link's final smash to at least pay reference to Majorah's mask.
