Meeting in Paradise

Adele POV

Jonathan and I just arrived at the place we are staying in Hawaii. It is extremely nice and the people so far are wonderful. I haven't seen any other artist yet but then again the only people who I have seen are the people at the front desk.

They tell Jonathan our room numbers and we make our way to the elevator. We aren't staying in the same room however they are next to each other so if either one of us needs anything were close.

After putting my things away and changing I made my way back downstairs. I texted Jonathan but I hadn't gotten a response so I am wondering the resort by myself.

When I get to the lobby a man who I guess is the owner of the company is standing there. He is in a white Klutch hat and in a Klutch t-shirt. He turns around and faces me. He definitely knows who I am.

He walks over to me and shakes my hand. "Hi I'm Rich Paul. I am so excited that you could make it on this trip Adele!" He had a deep voice that was so calming. "I am so excited to be here. Thank you for inviting me Rich." I said

He gave me the basic information about this upcoming week but he said he would go into more detail at the dinner tonight.

After a while of chatting he said "Would you like to go get a drink with me?" Why not? I thought. "Sure!" We walked to the bar that was on a different part of the resort.

"So Adele tell me a little about yourself" he said once we sat down and got our drinks. "Well, I have a nine year old son named Angelo. I currently live in LA but I'm from Tottenham. And in the past year I got a divorce from my son's father." I said. "I'm sorry to hear about your divorce, Adele." He said sincerely. "It's okay. I left. It just wasn't right for me anymore. I wasn't truly happy, you know?" I said taking a sip of my drink. "I understand" he replied "So tell me about you Rich." "I am a dad to three wonderful kids. Reonna, Zane, and Richie. I split from there mother a few years ago and since then I have been single. I am also from Cleveland." He said. "Well it looks like we have some things in common."

A few hours later we walked back from the bar in to the lobby. I saw Jonathan pacing around and talking to the front desk lady. When he saw me he came running towards Rich and me.

"Adele I've been looking for you every where. I've been calling and texting you for the past three hours. Where have you been?" He said "Jonathan I'm so sorry I was at the bar with Rich and my phone must have been off." I said

"Hello I'm Rich Paul. CEO and Founder of Klutch Sports Group." Rich said reaching his hand out to Jonathan. Jonathan shook his hand and said "it is very nice to meet you Rich. I'm Jonathan Dickins Adeles manger."

"Well it was very nice to meet you both but I have to start getting ready for our dinner this evening. See you both there." Rich said and went to the elevator.

"So Del you like him? Who knows you and him could be a power house couple." Jonathan whispered in my ear. "J shut the fuck up you know I'm not going to date anyone at the moment." "Whatever" he roles his eyes and we make our way up to our room.

I am wearing a silk black dress that has a deep V-neck and a pair of black heels.

Jonathan texted me to meet him at the elevator in five minutes so I did the final touches on my makeup and headed out the door.

I walk out of my room and see Jonathan standing there. "Hey J" I said and we walked down the hall.

When we get to the lobby I see a handful of celebrities. When I walked out of the elevator they all stopped what they were doing and looked at me. They knew who I was and seemed very interested in what I was doing. I spotted Beyoncé and Rihanna which made me a feel a little more comfortable since I had met them a few times.

I also saw Chris Stapleton which is someone who I have been a fan of since I was super young. There was a younger guy who I had seen before but hadn't really ever been in the same area and then SZA was there and I am a fan of hers. So overall I feel a little more comfortable.

The only person I didn't see was Rich. Wonder were he was?
