"Bingo." He snapped his fingers and grinned. "I knew you'd get it right."

You smiled at him. "So I'm assuming you're sending out the first-years to chase him down?"

He nodded. "It shouldn't be that hard. The dude's in a tub, for crying out loud."

"Well, he does play a lot of pranks and stuff like that, keep that in mind," you reminded him. "It may not be as easy as you think it will. He's a smart one after all."

"True. But if he's not in the underground basement, then where do you think he'll be?" He hummed.

"Who knows?" You echoed, "Perhaps hiding with the curses."

"I don't doubt that." He shifted his sitting position. "But why do you think he's suspicious?"

You let out a thoughtful hum. "It's not that he's suspicious. It's more like everyone else wasn't. So the process of elimination leaves us with him."

"Oh?"

"For one, he can control as many puppets as he'd like. That being said, he could disguise his location for as long as he wants to. There's something odd about that, is there not?"

Gojo grinned widely at you, pulling you in an awfully tight hug. "My Y/N is so smart!"

You let out a chuckle, hugging him back. "Are you sure you don't need me tagging along them? I mean, what if a Special Grade comes out of nowhere and starts attacking them?"

"It'll be fine!" He exclaimed. "You know yourself that these kids have a lot of potential."

You let out a hum. "I guess so."

7:20 PM.

Two weeks have passed since then. Currently, you were sitting on a sofa chair right next to Gojo after he assigned the first-years to the mission. He was laying his head on your lap, scrolling on his phone as you fiddled with his hair.

Suddenly, he received a phone call from Ijichi, which caught the both of you off guard.

"Man, what could he want?!" Gojo complained. "I'm having Y/N time right now!"

"Just answer it," you chuckled, "Maybe it's important if Ijichi, out of everyone, is calling."

He groaned before answering the phone call. "What is it?"

"Gojo-san," Ijichi started, "I'm very sorry to interrupt you in whatever you're doing, but we need you now, in Shibuya."
