I haven't been doing much for the past few days just daily chores after yami san and magna lost while gambling asta, Noelle and magna were sent on an unofficial mission as a promise made to the mayor of the saussy village it turned out to be different from what they expected as bad guys showed up but we never got to know what they were after as the perpetrators self destructed before we could take them to the capital for questioning
While I was sent out for patrol I guess being a magic knight isnt as glamorous as people usually believe I went back to the common room of the base as I was done with my part of the chores
"Ah kirara there you are I have a mission for you" I saw luck asta and Noelle already there "so what's the mission wizard king assigned us with captain yami" Asta had sparkles in his eyes "it's to explore a dungeon" "a dungeon?"
"Dungeons are structures built by ancient people important magic, treasure and magical tools can be found there they're filled with traps to keep intruders out and are dangerous places especially this one it's on the border we share with the diamond kingdom so enemy's might show up"
"Enemy!?!" "Yes the wizard king has specifically asked me to put asta, Noelle and kirara on this mission...luck you'll be team leader and kirara is second in command for this mission" we were all given a few minutes to prepare what we need for this mission
'I wonder why the wizard king specifically asked for me if enemy's show shouldn't someone high ranking be assigned to it..why newbies' I grabbed my things and came out of the base to see the others waiting for me and finral who used his spacial magic to send us to where the dungeon was more specifically near it
It was dark and hard to see asta and Noelle were goofing around while I just quietly followed them till Luck found a way in
Noelle and asta arguing whether to name the bird that follows asta around 'toritaro' or 'silvantus schnauzer'
'What the heck are those names' I thought appalling at their bad naming skills luck suggested we call it Nero with which the birds seemed to have agreed
The interior was extraordinary it was huge with multiple pathways water flowing and it sparkly due to the presence of so much mana and also filled with trap magic
Luck suddenly took off saying he needed to take care of something and left us on our own so I guess as the second and command of the team I was responsible here I decided it would be best if we head towards the area where I could sense a lot of Mana from
we were walking as Noelle accidentally triggered a trap resulting in her getting caught by the plant magic the trap was infused with a giant carnivorous plant emerged ready to attack noelle "Asta" "on it!" He swung his anti magic sword to free Noelle from the vines as I prepared to launch an Attack on the main body

Multiple arrows made of hardened blood hit target as well as another long range attack 'wind magic!?' "Asta" 'a familiar cool faced guy popped into my head ofcourse its yuno' "Yo yuno, what are you doing here"
"We were given the mission to explore this dungeon, you" "same with us" "that's strange isn't there supposed to be a senior with you..don't tell me he got scared and ran away" said a pale blue haired man I did not know
"Yuno who's this four eyes" "He's my senpai" "WHO ARE YOU CALLING FOUR EYES-"
I just tuned out the rest of it seems like Noelle and golden dawn girl are cousins four eyes and asta kept bickering me and yuno just witnessed everything with a bored look
"So..how are the black bulls" he asked being coy 'why's he being coy...' "well they're all freaks so I fit right in..is what I'd like to say but, I don't know" "What do you mean" "honestly I don't know how to feel but I may just be overthinking so I'll give it time" he just nodded "well if things ever get tough you can always talk to me"
