GOVERNOR:
Today, my heart is troubled with worrying thoughts of Africa
PERSONAL ASSISTANT:
Why trouble your heart with worrying thoughts of Africa?
Live today, leave the worries for tomorrow
GOVERNOR:
Why wait for tomorrow, when it only lies at the corner? What if the Africa you see today,
you will see no more?
PERSONAL ASSISTANT:
Men live by the choices
they make, you see
history bares record
of every decision we take!
The chronicles of time
will also bear witness
of our deeds...
GOVERNOR:
Our deeds are meant to shape society with sobriety,
But a few have taken hostage of society without piety.
These hold it to ransom against many!
PERSONAL ASSISTANT:
Indeed, and when
society is falling
It takes many to hold the fort, but truly, society is better fed and well bred, when it is groomed
Not by few but by many!
GOVERNOR:
The sun shines
without segregation
on the deeds of men
PERSONAL ASSISTANT:
Ah, so now, will you
blame the sun?
Yes indeed, it shines
on both good and bad
deeds of mankind...
GOVERNOR:
Can the deeds of mankind
be hidden from God?
And from the majestic canopy of heaven?
PERSONAL ASSISTANT:
Ah! So now, you will
blame God?
God is even the face
of the heavens,
And deeds of men are not hid from Him on any side,
We are all transparent before His colossal,
invisible eyes!
GOVERNOR:
Can a woman be as a man? And a man be as a woman?
PERSONAL ASSISTANT:
Then God
would not have made
them male and female
Separated, not interchangeable!
The sexes He designed,
for reasons unsearchable...
GOVERNOR:
Why does war
always loom
at our borders?
PERSONAL ASSISTANT:
Because angry men
make hasty decisions
GOVERNOR:
Is war the solution
to anger management?
PERSONAL ASSISTANT:
War has never positively resolved disagreements,
this fact is unequivocal.
Foolish men go to war,
and wise men let them!
GOVERNOR:
Is a man made wealthy
by the abundance
of his Physical resources?
PERSONAL ASSISTANT:
A healthy man
is a wealthy man
GOVERNOR:
Can the African continent
be truly free
From the shackles
of white oppression?
PERSONAL ASSISTANT:
Africa cannot be redeemed
Your excellency,
Because it has
overshot it's runway!
