A FEW WEEKS BEFORE PROPOSAL:
M/Y: ughh! I'm soooo tired today *says while rubbing her neck as she was exhausted because of her work*
*Gets a call from ha eun*
M/Y: hello? Ha eun!....why are you crying? Is everything okay? *Her expressions change & a wave of shock and sadness hover around her after receiving ha eun's call*
*She rushes quickly to doogo*
*As she is about to enter si O's office, ha eun stops her and hugs her*
Ha eun: thank God you're here! *She says, hugging Mi young tightly*
M/Y: *gently pats her back and asks her* what happened? Why are you crying?
Ha eun: Pavel has been threatening si o from a month, they want si o to sell their drugs but as he continuously denied it, they attacked his car as he was on his way to meet you, he's in the hospital right now *she explains, tears running down her cheeks*
M/Y: what? Why didn't you tell me this sooner? How's he now? Is he okay now??
Ha eun: yes, he's okay now & he's awake, you know his condition is not that serious as his driver saved him...I'm sorry for not telling you over the phone but he told us not to tell you but I just couldn't control myself from telling you, I thought you should know this so, I asked you to come here.... I'll text you the address of the hospital, you can meet him now.
M/Y: thank you for telling me this... I should go & meet him...take care of yourself & please don't cry. *She comforts him, hugging her tightly*
*She rushes her way to the hospital & as she opens the door of hospital room, she sees si o lying on the bed with one arm fractured & his eyes were closed probably because he was in pain... initially she pretended to be strong in front of ha eun but seeing si o in pain made her heart ache & she broke down, tears rolling down her cheeks, she rushed towards him*
*As si o feels her presence, he opens his eyes*
Si o: what are you doing here?
M/Y: *looks at him* I am sorry...all of this happened because of me... I'm really sorry *she says as she lost her control over her emotions & couldn't help but cry more*
Si o: *his heart aches upon seeing her tears, this is the exact reason why he didn't want her to know that he has been attacked* "it's not your fault...how is it your fault?" *His voice softens and he pulls her into a hug & rubs her back gently*
M/Y: it is my fault... I wanted you to come meet me even though you were busy.... I'm sorry *she says while her head was burried in his chest*
Si o: no, it's not... I came because I wanted to see you & this was bound to happen but don't worry it won't happen again... I'll make sure that this doesn't happen again trust me, they won't be able to do anything as they won't be in a condition to do anything...so, it's not at all your fault, please stop crying.
"He says as seeing her cry was more painful than the injuries he got"
THE DAY OF PROPOSAL:
*Si o has been preparing for marriage proposal from a couple of weeks, Mi young was the person he definitely wanted to spend his life with, ever since the incident happened, Mi young made sure that he is fine and used to check upon him frequently, si O's attempt to convince her that everything is fine & Pavel won't be able to do anything again, clearly didn't help at all*
*Si o stops the car* "we are here" *he says, looking out of the window*
*As soon as they get out of the car, Mi young looks around with surprise as they were at a cherry blossom garden & wind was blowing making petals of cherry blossom fall*

*As Mi young was admiring the scenery, si o calls her name taking her attention towards him & gets down on one knee*
Si o: I know it's sudden but... Mi young, will you marry me?
*Seeing him propose to her was completely unexpected, si o did tell her to put on a beautiful dress but she didn't pay attention to it but now this proposal made everything make sense...si O's nervousness, him talking on phone to someone and making arrangements, all of that makes sense now*
Mi young: yes, I will *nods*
*As she was trying to hold her tears back but she couldn't as all of the feelings were too much for her too handle.... although the proposal was unexpected but still she felt at ease by his proposal...maybe because she got a person who wants to spend the rest of his life with her*
*As si o puts the ring on her finger, petals continue to fall down congratulating them on the new start of their life, a new chapter of their lives*
"From "CEO-employee" to "friends" to "lovers"...their journey was unexpected and chaotic yet memorable.
(I'm sorry for updating the story after soooo long, actually I have been busy lately & also I lost interest in continuing this ff & that's why I rushed the story and I didn't write the ending well... I'm really sorry, I promise to come back with another ff or story & I'll make sure to write all of the parts with detailed scenes and perfection.... this is my first ff so, you may find flaws in this ff..once again sorry, take care & I love you all<333)
