Chapter 20

I woke up to hearing someone throwing up which made me shoot out of the bed. Everything coming back to me as to where I'm at and what happened last night. I made my way to Sarah's bathroom seeing her hunched over her toilet. I went and grabbed her hair quickly holding it back.

"Morning" she mumbled looking at me slightly smiling before hunching over the toilet again.

"Good morning to you too sunshine, how ya feeling?" I asked giggling

"Like I'm never gonna drink again" she said giggling before throwing up more. After a few more times, she's finally felt like she was good and sat back against her wall.

"How'd you get here?" She asked me

"I drove over last night, Rafe brought you to the chateau but you were out, I ended up having some of my own bullshit back home and I left soo here I am" I said and she nodded... part of me was hoping she didn't remember what she walked in on last night, the other part hoped she did so then I could have somebody to talk to about it.

"Well I'm glad you're here" she said reaching up and patting my knee

"Of course, figured you'd appreciate a nice face this morning with how you'd be feeling" i said smiling

"I don't know, you seem to think the face in the other room was pretty nice last night" she said eyeballing me and laughing making me blush

"Yeaaaaah, last night was a shit show" I admitted

"Well, I need the tea" she said cocking an eyebrow at me smirking

"Well at Toppers, Rafe kissed me after he helped with a cut-"

"What cut? From what?" She asked as I reached up pushing my hair out of my face showing her the bandaid

deciding I could go ahead and take it off now, I stood up and went to the mirror pulling it off and inspecting the cut, "I fell and hit the flower pot by the pool but thankfully to Rafe, I didn't hit completely, it was bleeding pretty bad so he took me upstairs to clean it up" the cut is obviously there but won't take too long to heal I believe, and if it's scars, no biggie.

"How'd that go?" She asked me

"Well before that happened, he asked to talk, he apologized for everything, wanted to make sure we were good, ya know, all that good stuff. But after he cleaned the cut, he kissed me.."

"Are you serious??? Did you kiss him??" She asked sitting up more

"For a split second yes, but then I pushed him away, told him we didn't need to do that. So then I went home, where I found some chick name Sammie-"

"I can't stand that whore" Sarah cut me off and I nodded agreeing with her

"Yeah, well she was in our kitchen, hair wet and in JJ's shirt... few minutes later, here comes JJ around the corner with a towel wrapped around his waist" I told her

"Ohh shit... so are you and JJ a thing or what?" She asked

"No.. I mean I think I like him but I don't know. My whole life he's just treated me like a kid, especially if it involves your brother" i admitted and she nodded

"To be fair, if it wasn't for JJ, we don't know what would have happened to you that day Blake" she defended low

"I kn- I know, but it's still aggravating, im older now, I've had to deal with stuff just as bad in Alabama and I figured it out, ya know, just let me do that here too" I explain to her

"I get where you're coming from, but what happened?" She begged for me to continue

"Well I guess Sammie's little crew was gonna come later, we all went outside, that's when you and Rafe pulled up. JJ got in his face then and didn't let his eyes leave us the entire time. When I went over to the fire, Sammie asked us to okay a game which we ended up playing never have I ever, well you know how I wanted to take that whole day with Rafe to my grave without JB finding out, well thanks to JJ he found out. I ended up saying some stuff I shouldn't have too. We were both pissed. Then turns out someone told JJ that they seen me and Rafe going upstairs when he was on his way back to the Chateau, we got into it, told him I didn't owe him anything and that I could handle myself and ya know.. me being me. And then I left" I stopped
