(Y/n pov)

"Y/n, when are you and Itona so close?" I turn to Kaede, tilting my head. It has been a week since we have been housemates. Weren't we close before? Maybe not. But seeing Kaede asking me more personal questions, it seems like she's trying to strengthen my bond with me. Or maybe not? I'm overthinking about the negative side. But it's true when I believe the Kaede I talk with isn't the real her. Then she's hiding her own identity, she does look familiar to me though. "Why do you think so?" "Well, we saw you and Itona walking together after class and we also saw you walking with him to school today." I laugh. "Are you guys my stalker?" "It's best if we protect you, especially from blunt perverts who are oblivious." Rinka hugs me, mentioning Itona in a disliking manner. "Don't be so protective, Itona is my housemate now. So we live together-"

"WHAT?!" Kaede screams, and everyone in the class turns to her. Now she's getting everyone's attention. "You live with Itona now?!?!" "When?" Rinka calmly asks. "Well a few days ago. Technically he's staying in my house," "Oh what!" Now the other girls swarm around my table. They bombard me with questions. I keep my cool though as I smile. "Oh come on, as long as we get along, we're good. Now anyways, where is that idiot."

"Here." Itona raises his hands and waves at me. "Ohayo Itona, did you finish breakfast?" "Yeah, better than Muramatsu's ramen honestly. Why don't you eat breakfast?" "Hey!" "Good then. I don't eat because I don't deem it's necessary to eat 3 full meals per day." I raise my hand and pat his shoulders lightly before heading to the door. "I'm going to the main campus for a drink, want something?" "Sure. Let me follow you." I nod and we both leave.

"You know our class will ship us right?" I ask him as we walk out of the old campus. "I don't care. Still, thank you-" "Stop Itona. One thank you is enough. You will always be loved in the present and future, remember that." I smile at him. "Now, let's race to the main campus." Then I start running, listening to Itona shouting behind me. "That's not fair for someone who runs the fastest to get a headstart." "Said the one who has enhanced stats when having some slimy tentacle," I shout back, ignoring the strawberry blonde that I run past by, knowing that I will soon have to face him in a serious matter.

(Third person pov)

The class was in a frenzy with this bombshell. The girls squeal excitedly seeing someone close to Y/n, while some boys sulk as their stoic friend manages to charm someone pretty. "Awww I'm so jealous of Itona." Okajima whines. "As if she is going to like you anyway." Rinka retorts much to Okajima's displeasure. The window that was left open let the wind flow through as suddenly a strong gust of air brushed past the classroom. Koro-sensei arrives earlier than his time, his slimy skin tints with a pink hue, indicating a new perverted thought appears in his mind. What's with him? The class questions internally.

"Neru hu hu hu hu." He laughs. "Young love," he cheerily opens his small notebook and writes down his collected information. "Are you talking about Y/n and Itona, Koro-sensei?" Maehara asks. Koro-sensei flinched as if he was caught. "Etto, you guys are correct." "I know right?" "They are really close."

Nagisa sweatdrops at his friends' chatter about the rumored couple. It's nice to see Y/n having a closer and stronger bond with many people other than Karma. However,... He flips in a few pages in his small notebook. He stops at the page titled 'Y/n'. From all my observations and notes I have taken, I feel like Y/n only sees Itona as a close friend and vice versa. She has always been kind and opens her arms to no extent. On the other hand, her chances of liking Karma are a lot higher. He shakes his head to stop his thoughts from aligning with the others about this ship as the bell finally rings to the settle the class down.
