Chapter 6

Hotch's POV:

I get to Reid's apartment and open it with the spare key in the bush down the hall. I go to his bathroom and open the medicine cabinet. I found the bottle easily, since everything is organized alphabetically. I open it and see that all the pills are there. I unlock my phone and call Morgan. "Yeah Hotch?" He asks. "I found the bottle. He hasn't taken any of them." I reply. I give him the name of the prescription and put the bottle back where I found it. I lock up his apartment and head back to the BAU.

Morgan's POV:

After Hotch called me, I find the doctor and tell her what he found. She allows me to go see Reid as she writes a new prescription for him. I walk in and he is eating Jell-O. Darn, can't steal it this time. "Hey Pretty Boy. How ya feelin'?" I ask. "Fine." He says. I sigh and decide to further question him.
"Reid, I don't know what is going on, but I want to know. Who is this friend we are meeting? And why haven't you taken your meds? I didn't want to be intruding or end up here, but now you have some explaining to do." I say. He sighs and mumbles, "I have a brother." Even though I know why we were here, I act surprised. "Reid, that is great." I answer. He nods and continues to eat his Jell-O in silence.
"And please explain why you didn't take your meds either." I say. "I didn't think I needed them." He says quietly. I nod and just reply, "You know you need them. Maybe with taking them, you will get past it and not have to take them." He nods and I walk out of the room to go buy some food.
I see the doctor in the hall and she stops me. "I prescribed Mr. Reid newer meds that he has to take." She said. I nod. "When can he get discharged?" I ask. She looks through her charts. "Maybe later today or tomorrow morning. We want to observe him for the rest of the day or possibly overnight." She says. I nod and head back into his room. When I get there, I see him taking a nap. I send Hotch a text explaining what the doctor said, then I head out to the hotel to grab a few things.

A/N:

And again it seems like years since I updated. And it is a really short chapter too. But it is summer now for me. No more finals or school. I do have summer work and stuff though. But just a quick personal update- my cat is still missing. And sadly my dog has passed on to his next life. I also just finished a week of band (orchestra) camp at a Boy Scout camp where there was no wifi and limited cell service. It was amazing and I met so many new friends. I will try to update this week, but I'm going to try and start some summer work and yeah. I just want to thank you guys so much for sticking around. I am a terrible author for not updating often. But I want to try and change that (:
