Bottom Of The Deep Blue Sea
~ MISSIO

Flame

Snow just took off, Que porqueria. What's his problem? It's not like I lied. He didn't let me finish, if he wants, I'll get tested with him. I shake my head and get up from my bed, Mierda. I need a shower. Snowflake will probably be back in the room by then, so we can talk like two adults. The test isn't that bad, a small needle and that's it. I get tested regularly, he shouldn't make such a fuss. I stay under the cold shower for far too long, but even when I step out of the bathroom an hour later, there's no sign of him, maybe he's in the restaurant. I shrug my shoulders and sit down on my bed before I realize that Snow has forgotten his cell phone, it's on his bed. But if he's just in the hotel, that wouldn't be so bad. I look out the floor-to-ceiling window, it's getting dark. What if he's not in the hotel? Mierda, Sophia would kill me if something happened to him. I run my hand through my hair, Snow doesn't speak Spanish. What if something happened to him? I get up and grab my leather jacket before leaving the room.

The elevator ride takes far too long, I probably would have been faster if I had taken the stairs. I had warned him that I was complicated, but he didn't care, and now he's angry. What a load of crap. I look for Snow in the restaurant, the hotel's outdoor area and in the bar. But he's nowhere, so he really has gone out. Fuck, fuck, fuck. I leave the hotel, where could he be? As if by remote control, I head for the beach bar we were in on the first day. I push my way through the crowd of different people. But I can't find Snow among them, damn it. Outside, I keep looking around, there are several more bars here on the beach and I visit them one by one. Where is this idiot? I look around a bar again, it's already dark outside.

Out of the corner of my eye I see a head of white hair, Snow? I turn my head towards them and see the white-haired man being pulled outside by another guy. I walk towards the door and make myself call out to him. My voice echoes through the bar, a head turns in my direction. It's him, but the other guy just keeps pulling him outside. I want to follow them when I'm stopped. A hand is placed on my chest and I look along the arm to the person's face. It's a guy, a little taller than Snow, blond and blue eyes. He smiles at me seductively, he's thin and looks like a picture-book twink. I blink in confusion and look at him, what does he want from me? "My name isn't Snow, but I'm sure we could have fun too." He says, I sigh and push his hand away. The only thing that matters now is bringing Snowflake back. "No," I say bluntly, I push past him and then outside. Where is Snow? I look around until I see him.

The guy who pulled him outside presses him against a wall. And shields Snow from prying eyes, but I quickly realize that Snowflake can barely stand up straight. What the hell? Did the guy put something in his drink? Anger rises in me, damn bastard. The guy presses his lips to Snow's neck and continues to press Snow against the wall. Snow's gaze is blank, fuck, I hate it when his gaze is so dull. The guy is fiddling with his pants. I clench my hands into fists, "hey Cabrón," comes out of my mouth, the guy turns frantically towards me. I walk up to him and grab the guy by the collar of his shirt, "what do you think you're doing here? Keep your hands off him." I shove the guy hard against the wall, "fuck off, or I'll chop your hands off and send them to your family nicely packaged." He swallows slightly and raises his hands in a placating manner before he takes off.

I turn to Snow, but he is no longer leaning against the wall. He stumbles down to the beach, Mierda. Can't he just stop, that little fucker. I shake my head slightly and run after him. "Snow!" I call after him, he turns his head towards me and stops. While he looks at me with his eyebrows drawn together. "No, leave me alone, asshole." His words come out of his mouth slowly and slurred. I sigh deeply, "Snowflake, look at me," comes from my lips in a serious tone. He looks up at my face. I walk towards him and pull him towards me, which only works with his protests. "Calm down, let's go back to the hotel, then we'll talk." He shakes his head so wildly that he must be dizzy in his state.
