A/n: trying something new today, and interview format!

INTRO

LANDO: (speaks to producer off-screen) Oh, so I get to introduce him? Great.

OSCAR: (asks producer) What should I say?

Producer: (voice off-camera) Just how you would introduce him to other people normally.

....

OSCAR: Hi everyone, he's Lando Norris, Formula one race winner.

LANDO: And he's Oscar Piastri, (puts up a finger for each thing mentioned) 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup Champion, 2020 F3 Champion, 2021 F2 Champion. The first-ever driver to win the three championships directly below F1 consecutively. Three-time Autosport Rookie of the Year Award winner, Two-time FIA Rookie of the Year winner-

OSCAR: Yeah okay, stop I think they got it (blushes furiously).

LANDO: (to producer) I can go on and on about this-

(crew laughs)

OSCAR: (miserably) Oh jeez, I'm regretting this already.

LANDOS  SEGMENT (Oscar answers)

LANDO: Oh, this is gonna be interesting. Okay, first question. When and where did we first meet?

OSCAR: Like meet meet or just like talk?

LANDO: Just you know, when was the first time you ever saw me in person?

OSCAR: Oh, at the um, Melbourne Grand Prix in 2020. In the elevator which was crazy. You introduced yourself like I didn't know who you were.

LANDO: Well yeah, I didn't want to assume you knew who I was, so.

OSCAR: You're ridiculous. You were the formula one driver.

LANDO: Okay, stalker much (eye roll). Next question. What is my middle name?

OSCAR: Don't have one. Easy.

LANDO: Nice.

OSCAR: (fondly) Lando Norris, or lando nowwins

LANDO: (dramatic eye roll)

...

LANDO: Why did I choose to use the number  4?

OSCAR: Well, you originally wanted 11 or 31.

LANDO: Yeah, I did yeah.

OSCAR: But they weren't available and 4 worked well with your logo.

LANDO: Nailed that one.

OSCAR: Pretty easy (smiles).

...

LANDO: What city was I born in?

OSCAR: Um, the UK?

LANDO: (sighs) The UK isn't a city, Oscar.

OSCAR: (thinks hard) England?

LANDO: More specific. B-

OSCAR: B-?

LANDO: Br-

OSCAF: Br-istol

LANDO: Yes! (high fives Oscar) Mate, the people would have roasted you if you didn't get that one.
