~LUCIFER POV~

The only thing that gets me motivated to get up this morning, is the smell of pancakes from downstairs. I was embarrassed to even face Alastor, but I really wanted to eat pancakes.

I hid under the covers, trying to drown the smell out. It worked for a couple minutes. I was just sitting in silence, thinking. Mostly about what to do today, but also about Lilith.

It had been seven years since I've seen her. I'm starting to get worried. My thoughts are interrupted by my stomach growling. I sigh and sit up from the bed.

The smell of pancakes becomes stronger and I get up. "Fuck it," I thought. "Pancakes are more important." I get changed into my striped dress -shirt and some cargo pants.

I quickly ran to the elevator and pressed the button. I don't want all the food to be gone before I can get to it. When I got to the dining room, it looked like food just got done being made.

I mentally sighed with relief and quickly went to sit at the table. "Good morning dad!" Charlie said. "Morning," I said back to her. She sat at the end of the table and Vaggie sat next to her. I was sitting next to husk.

He looked very tired. "Do you want coffee?" I asked him. He grumbled, but nodded. I snapped my fingers and a cup of coffee appeared in front of his plate.

"I made sure to spike it," I said quietly enough so Charlie couldn't hear.

After breakfast, I went to sit on the couch and relax. It was about 9:00, and I wanted to rest for a bit before having to hang out with Alastor. I growled at the thought of him. "I'm doing this for Charlie," I reminded myself.

After a while, I finally decided to sit up from the couch and get fully dressed. I teleported into my room and snapped my fingers. Suddenly, my jacket, hat, and boots were on and I teleported back downstairs.

I made my cane appear in my hand and walked up to the door. It was about 9:55, so Alastor should be down any minute.

~ALASTOR POV~

I smoothed out my coat and grabbed my cane to make my way downstairs. I growled and gripped my cane with morbid intentions. "Why the hell am I doing this?" I scolded myself.

The last thing I want to do is hang out with Lucifer. He is always getting on my nerves. I straitened my smile and walked into the main room.

Lucifer was standing by the door, looking around and fiddling with his cane. "Oh," I said trying to sound surprised. "You're early for once!" Lucifer rolled his eyes and scoffed.

"Yeah whatever," he said dismissively. "Are you ready to go?" I nodded, pushed him out of the way and walked out the door. I heard Lucifer run up to walk beside me.

"You can be such an ass sometimes," he muttered. My smile tightened, I raised my eyebrows and looked at him. He looked up at me and smiled sheepishly.

I shook off his insult and we both continued to walk in silence. "What kind of music do you like?" Lucifer asked after about 15 minutes of walking in silence. "Why are you talking to me?" I asked.

I started to walk a little faster, but he kept up. "Sorry," he said in a mocking-apologetic tone. "But I like jazz," I quickly said. Why did I even answer?

"I guess I just like jazz enough to share it," I thought. Lucifer's eyes lit up and he smiled. "I also love jazz!" I gave him a confused look. "You do?" I said, dumbfounded. "Yeah," he answered. "You know, Brian Bromberg, Steely Dan, and Miles Davis."

"Great selections," I thought with surprise. "Have you heard of John Coltrane?" I asked him. We both stopped as Lucifer seemed to think a little. "No," he said "I don't think so." My eyes widened in surprise.

I put my cane in my other hand and grabbed Lucifer's arm. "Oh you must hear him," I exclaimed. I dragged Lucifer to a bar in my territory. When we walked in, he seemed to be in shock.

The bar was very civil and it was kept neat. I wanted it to be that way, so if someone decided to try to wreck the calmness, they would feel my wrath. We both sat at a table next to the stage. I got the person in charge of the music's attention. "Excuse me sir,"

I exclaimed. "May you play John Coltrane?" He nodded quickly and went to change the music. He seemed to hide the fear in his eyes very well, but I could tell he was intimidated.

~LUCIFER'S POV~

I heard the music quickly change to a smoother type of jazz. It was surprisingly calming. We ordered some drinks and had a fun time. We would occasionally talk and ask questions about each other, but it was mostly silence.

I sipped on my drink while watching the commotion around me. I was bobbing my leg up and down while also tapping my finger on the table. "Shit," I thought. "Did I take my meds?"

I noticed how I couldn't focus on one thing. I definitely did not take my ADHD medication. I looked at Alastor briefly and saw him enjoying the music.

My head was full of different thoughts and questions. My ADHD soon turned into overstimulation and anxiety after 10 minutes of constantly moving. I looked around the bar as my breathing started getting faster.

My leg started moving faster and my eyes darted around the place. "Are you alright?" Alastor asked. I barely heard him and couldn't look at him while talking. "I um..." I trailed off. "What did you say?"

My focus was on twenty different things. He arched his eyebrows with anger. "Are you not listening?" He said with frustration. "Sorry, what?" I asked.

He scoffed and stood up. He stormed through the bar door. I stood up and quickly went after him. (Thank Satan that I had my cane in my hand, or I would have forgotten it.)

"Alastor!" I called after him. The open streets and chaotic  people around me only made my anxiety worse. "I'm sorry!" I apologized as soon as I caught up to him. "I um... forgot to take something today," I looked at a person that was walking out of an alley way.

My focus was locked in that person and I didn't hear what Alastor asked me. We both stopped walking and he grabbed my arm. "Can you even listen for one second!" He yelled at my face.

I looked at his eyes and my focus started coming back. The overstimulation started to come back to me and I was overwhelmed by a wave of emotion. Alastor seemed to be furious at me though.

"I'm s-sorry," I stuttered as tears started coming to my eyes. "I'll listen." I looked down to hide my face. I felt the grip on my arm loosen and looked back up at Alastor. "Why are you acting like a child?" He asked.

I fiddled with my cane and took a deep breath to slow the tears in my eyes. "I forgot to take my medication," I said softly. Alastor arched his eyebrows in confusion. "For what?" He asked.

"For...ummm," I looked around a few times. "ADHD." I whispered. Alastor seemed to relax as grabbed my arm again. I looked at him confused, as my focus started coming back again. "Walk with me," Alstor said softly, still holding my arm.

It's not completely cannon that Lucifer had ADHD, but I believe it should be. I'm sorry if this is not what ADHD feels like. I haven't experienced it. Bye!
