Chapter 6)Regret

As Pallavi got back home from the practice ground, her mind was filled with confusion, stress and uneasiness. The picture of her kissing Shubman kept playing on in her head. She doesn't know how it all happened but it was all really hard to take in for her.
It felt like she betrayed her husband Ravi even though she knew that she doesn't love him. Her mind was in a rush, she couldn't think straight. She thought to have a glass of cold water to calm herself. She took a glass but wasn't able to hold it properly because her hands were continuously shaking due to uneasiness and fear. She abused herself mentally that how can she do such a disgusting thing. Shubman is married and she is also married so how she made such a big mistake. It will be really hard for her to face Shubman now. She decided that she will ignore Shubman from now and not talk to him.

As Shubman got back home he was greeted by Manya. She hugged him tightly, but Shubman didn't reciprocate the hug.

Manya:-Hey Shubi. I really missed u today.
How r u?

Shubman:-Yeah, i am fine.

Manya:-How was the practice session?

Shubman:-It was great. I just got my back strained.

Manya:-Oh god. R u ok?

Shubman:-Yeah Manya, now can u pls give me some rest. I want to sleep.

Manya:-But Shubman what about dinner?

Shubman:-Tum karlo dinner. I am not feeling hungry.

Manya:-Uhm... ohk.

Shubman held his head in stress. He couldn't think of anything else apart from that kiss he shared with Pallavi. He thought how he could do this. Pallavi is a physiotherapist for our team and i cannot built any sort of a personal relationship with her. How she will think of him. Shubman thought about Manya that he somehow betrayed her even though their marriage is not at all on good terms, but he can't do this to her.

SHUBMAN TO HIMSELF:-

Fuck what i just did today man. Now it's gonna be so hard to face her. She must be thinking that i am such a pervert. Shubman you r an idiot. I need to sort things out with her otherwise it's gonna be really hard for both of us. I will talk to her tomorrow and clear all of these things. (He glanced at Manya's pic which was kept on the side, he picks up) i am sorry Manya, i know that our marriage is fucked up i know that i can't be a good husband but that doesn't give me any right to do such thing.
