*time skip to the morning*

"Hmm.ngh.." Dazai groaned as he slowly woke up. He always woke up first whenever him and Kunikida stayed over. "Kuni..Kunikida? Are you there?"
Dazai's eyes fully opened this time. He scanned his living room for his beloved Kunikida. But he was nowhere to be seen. That is until he hears a loud coughing coming from upstairs. He immediately jumps up and runs upstairs. He notices it's coming from the bathroom, he doesn't want to intrude but he's so worried. Despite his fear of entering without permission, he swings the door open. To his absolute horror, he sees Kunikida bent over his sink, coughing. Coughing blood.
Dazai's eyes winded as he saw the horrific scene before him.
"K-KUNIKIDA!! What happened!? What's wrong!!?? Oh my goodness!!"
Kunikida couldn't even turn to look at Dazai. He was still coughing, not as much blood though. He tried to calm himself down. He shakily reached for his notebook. He wrote,

"Dazai, i don't know what's wrong. I just woke up and had this horrible pain in my throat. It just felt like phlegm but I had to come up here and check."

"Kunikida, i think you need to go to the doctors. This seems serious."

"I'll go first thing tomorrow Dazai. They aren't open on Sundays."

Dazai sighed. He didn't want Kunikida to know he was worried. He rested his hand on Kunikida's back and rubbed it carefully. Kunikida calmed himself down quite quickly. He never really worried about things like this. Dazai saw that he was relaxed now, but he couldn't shake the feeling something was wrong, and Kunikida wasn't telling him. But of course, his lover wouldn't lie to him. Dazai tried his best to mask a calm expression. And offered Kunikida to come back downstairs. They both eerily walked down the stairs. Dazai beckoned Kunikida to go and sit on the sofa. Dazai turned on the TV for them both, and was fixing their clothes and bags from the night before. Kunikida giggled and thought to himself,
"Wow, he looks just like a house-maid. I'm sure he would be an amazing father."
And just to bring Kunikida's suspicions to life, Dazai walked in with two cups of hot chocolate and some Dorayakis for them both to eat. Dazai and Kunikida shared a laugh together. While drinking their hot coco, and eating their food, Kunikida was scrolling through the Netflix recommendations for some movies. One in particular caught his eye though, it was called "When Marnie Was There". He always loved animated moves, they made him feel like a child again, because he didn't get to be one.
Dazai glanced at screen to see the movie Kunikida was going to pick.
"This one seems good. Let's start it!"
Kunikida and Dazai scooted closer together on the sofa. But that wasn't enough for Kunikida. He crawled up into Dazai and lay in between his legs. Head rested on Dazai's chest. Dazai chuckled at Kunikida's sudden movement. Dazai warmed up to Kunikida's coldness. And they both cuddled closely and tight together as the movie played. Yet again, they had another sweet moment together. They always had sweet moments together. And as the saying goes, "Time flies when you're having fun." That did intact prove to be true. Because before they knew it, the movie was over and it was almost time for dinner. Dazai decided that he didn't want just a plain, old dinner. He wanted something exciting!
"Kunikida, i'm feeling bored. Would you like to go out to a restaurant for dinner? my treat."
Kunikida's mouth formed into a sly smile, he nodded.
"Great! I know an amazing place just round the corner. Shall we get ready?"
Kunikida again, nods. Dazai smiles. Kunikida grabs both their bags and heads upstairs, Dazai follows. The pair get into Dazai's room and pick out their clothes. Everyone who works at the ADA has to bring a spare change of clothes with them, so that's why they both have back up outfits. I'd say that's a lucky coincidence.

Dazai feels a slight tap on his back, it's Kunikida. He's completely dressed, but only from the waist down. He has no shirt on, Dazai can't help but get distracted while looking at his chest. Kunikida is pointing to his shirt. Dazai doesn't understand so he writes down,
"Some of the buttons on my shirt have popped out, can i borrow some spare ones of you too sew them back?"
Dazai tries his best to read what Kunikida has written, but he can't. Whenever they get into situations like this, it always ends up with Dazai getting frustrated. He wishes he could just read normally. Kunikida can see Dazai's frustration. He sighs and puts down the note. He lifts his shirt in hand, and shows Dazai the area near the neck. He points at the non existent buttons. Dazai stares at the shirt for a few minutes before realising what's wrong.
"Ohhhhhh!!! I get it now! You need a new shirt right?"
Kunikida nods, smiling.
"Ah i see. I think i have something."
Kunikida patiently waits for Dazai to get whatever he's looking for. And after watching him scramble through his closet, and few drawers, he pulls out a similar looking shirt to Kunikida's. Kunikida is a little surprised, he was expecting a few buttons and needle, not a Dazai's shirt. Although it's not what he wanted he could never refuse his lovers shirt. He took it thankfully and put it on, it was sort of a tight fit, but he made it work.
"Alright! You look wonderful Kuni. Let's go before we loose our apatite."
Dazai reaches out for Kunikida's hand, he has a right grip. The two step outside, and Dazai locks the door. "Hey, since it's just round the corner we don't have to take the car, okay? Trust me though, you'll absolutely love this place!"
Kunikida could tell that Dazai was very excited to go out, and Kunikida the same. How could he not be? He was actually going on a dinner date with his new lover.

They got to the diner, it was called "Flashback Café".
They both stepped inside, and the first thing they noticed was the smell and scenery. To be specific, the smell of roasted meats, salted french fries, scrumptious burgers and the smell of relief. And for the sights, rainbow LEDS, green plants galore, people and kids everywhere and the bustling of waiters and servants.
"Ahhh.." Dazai sighed a relaxed sigh.
"It's so good to be back. I used to come here all the time after work, Kunikida."
Dazai wasn't looking at Kunikida, he was looking deep into the restaurant. Kunikida just gave Dazai a cold stare. He seemed so happy to be back in this old diner. But little did he know, Kunikida was hiding something, extremely life changing from him. I mean, how was he supposed to tell him? Would he ever tell him? Should he ever tell him? I don't know. But i don't think right now, or tonight at all would be the right time to drop this huge secret.
