The next morning, Tajdar woke up abruptly from a deep sleep of memories , his heart racing and his body covered in sweat. He quickly sat up, placing a hand on his chest, feeling the fast thumping of his heart. Despite the panic, he couldn't help but smile as thoughts of Alamzeb flooded his mind. The memory of her face illuminated by moonlight, his name delicately inscribed in mehendi on her hand-it was all too enchanting. He cursed himself for not asking her name but felt an irresistible pull to see her again. He decided that it was time to find her and ask for her hand in marriage, no matter how soon it seemed.
As Tajdar prepared for the day, he couldn't stop blushing, thinking about spending his life with Alamzeb. During breakfast, his grandmother, Jahanara Begum, noticed his distracted demeanor. She teased him gently, asking about the special lady on his mind. Tajdar, unable to contain his happiness, kissed his grandmother's cheek and assured her that she would meet this special someone very soon. Jahanara Begum was thrilled to see her grandson so in love.
After breakfast, Tajdar attended to his business affairs, his thoughts never straying far from Alamzeb. In the evening, he met with his revolutionary friends to discuss their plans against the British. After their meeting, he visited the library, knowing that Alamzeb loved books. He handed a letter to the receptionist, asking him to give it to the unknown beauty who might visit. The receptionist, amused by Tajdar's romantic endeavor, agreed.
